both of them are aspects of public health.

mainly recruited by NGO's, universities, designated government parastalals and some private firms.

I know there is a professional (license) certification in environmental health (EHORECON) and occupational/industrial hygiene is taken seriously in some places.

The only epidemiologist I know are lecturers. I don't know anyone in the NGO space.

go for environmental health grin

Environmental health is a great course but it is not appreciated in Nigeria... Epidemiology is done mostly at msc level
There is no way u will do environmental health or public health without having a knowledge of epidemiology
I have a bachelor's degree in environmental health it's a very good course, it's also a professional course which u will be giving a licence to practice like the poster said above, you will also have the opportunity of going for internship after 5 years of study (the council is still working on dis)

Between the two careers mentioned above, running and working in the gym or swimming, the gym/swimming career is generally more competitive and lucrative to venture into. Here's why:

Running Career:

Competitiveness: Highly competitive, especially at elite levels.
Lucrativeness: Generally less lucrative unless you reach the top ranks, secure sponsorships, or win significant races.
Gym/Swimming Career:

Competitiveness: Competitive but with more diverse opportunities.
Lucrativeness: Potentially more lucrative due to various career paths such as personal training, coaching, fitness instruction, or working in sports facilities, which can offer more stable income and opportunities for growth.
Therefore, pursuing a career in the gym or swimming offers more stable and potentially lucrative opportunities compared to a professional running career.
