See the law is just too harsh sometimes, some one way in Lagos now, d signals re not there anymore and a new driver in Lagos most times fall into dose traps, in scenario like this just know the govt and govt officials re out there to milk anybody

You see the local street one way is not applicable, those are created by the local government.

the one way Lagos state frown out is the highway, for example lekki epe express way, ikorodu road, 3rd mainland bridge, ago palace way, festac road. Trunk a and b road.

For example this is illegal booking of one way, the local government idiot was arrested and charge to court, when i followed up. He Impound my car for 2 days illegally, by the time i went with my petition to alausa, they followed me and get him arrested.

Know your right and don't break the law.

I understand the law is the law but no matter the law or the case maybe it can still be contested in a court of law. Abi you never see where a murderer was discharge and acquitted for a clear murder case b4? I've seen 2 cases...

Dont worry... Continue a day of reckoning is coming for every evil dead.

Every alleged criminal has right to defend self in court, I'm only saying, while defending urself, be truthful to the court, so the court won't add extra punishment for deceiving.

The law is a beautiful thing that shape our society, if law breakers are not punish more crime will be committed, you can imagine if there is no one way traffic law.

During #endsars protest, 3rd mainland bridge, car where facing each other on the same lane on high speed, just because no one is there to enforce the law.

Stop been emotional, obey the law and have peace of mind.

Please if devil use one of ur driver to pass one way and the state impound u car, what's the fate of the driver grin

You speak the truth but also try to balance it most times when you make your summits. Forfuitment of vehicle can be equated to capital punishment for criminal act that's my point. It's not a reasonable punishment.

So don't attribute it to emoticons.

If you pass one way that has no one way sign and you're arrested. First thing you should do is quickly go back to the entrance of the one way and take a picture. Without the sign they have no case

Hey guys, so I have been keeping up with this thread for a while and I will be in Lagos from the 21st of December to January 9. What I am looking for is a reliable driver who currently does uber/bolt and is willing to take me around Lagos not going past Ikoyi Or Lekki and be on call 24/7. You will not be with me every day as I will not have an outing everyday. I am a young woman from the U.K residing in Ogudu phase 2. even better if you reside on the mainland and close to ogudu. I will pay for refueling of the car and I am looking to pay 150,000k for the 3 weeks guaranteed, 50 k a week. you will not have to deal with multiple passengers a week and once you drop me off at my friend's house or other places you are free to do whatever you like. The only requirement is you have your own car, you have a valid license, you are a good person and you are willing to have a good (safe) Christmas with me. face mask will be required
how far with this offer?

Not related to the thread but I just need some advice,

Trying to go to Ibadan via Ajah using google maps..

Is there anything I need to know, thanks.

If the map asks you to go through Epe, you might be tempted NOT TO because of bad roads. But my advice is: If it says go through Epe, please do. The roads are not as bad as I thought. Two Saturdays ago, I left Ajah by 7am. Map said I should go through Epe, I declined. I got to Ibadan by 4pm. I regretted my decision that day.

From your write up you make it look like partners are majorly the issue but I don’t really agree with you. I can understand new drivers wanting to try their luck with Uber due to loss and lack of jobs, dwindling economy and the need to be actively doing something. My issue is those who are already on the platform and for some reasons their partners withdrew their cars. The rate and number of people waiting on new partners on this platform is really high which necessitated my question.

As a partner it would take dishonesty and insincerity for me to withdraw my car from a rider and then I must have drawn your attention to my grouse with you before even taking any action. It’s the reason why I can’t do HP because People have died for just withdrawing their cars from non paying drivers who in turn feel slighted and offended especially when they have paid over half of the agreed price. I no sabi fight so I just stick to rentals and stay on my lane. Anyway any driver around Ajah and sangotedo can contact me. I might be able to work something out

I have 3 cars on Uber. I want to ask how much does your drivers remit for weekly rentals?

I want to see if I’ve not been cheated all along with the high price of cars and everything.
