I detest dumb post especially when they're approved and errbody comment like nothing is wrong. birds are animals pls, you should classify properly. it is dull people like you that want to abuse somebody you say "animal!" as though the person is a plant or table. your post shows you're not scientific. how can you mention birds separately from "animals"? this dumbness is annoying. pls simply modify to " Rivers zoo having less than 20 species of animals and go ahead to classify into: Primates:4 -2 gorilla, 2 monkeys, Reptilia: 2: 2 crocodiles and 10 bird species. its so easy than stupidly making "birds" stand alone from other animals when evolution has it that there were archaeopteryx( flying reptiles) that existed and evolved into birds. pls be avoid scientific things if you're not involved with us. I know you posted to draw attention to the zoo poor management, but your topic heading is a disgrace to science

I never knew there was a zoo there until last year, though I ply that road every day. That beautiful day, I went to slaughter market the agbero boy said oga go park for zoo, I was like where be zoo? My guy said abobi, nawa for you o pointing to the carpark

Don't mind the empty and clueless leaders we have in this country. I felt deeply disgusted when i read a lack of allocation as the reason the zoo has collapsed. It's always government run organizations in this country that suffer mismanagement. I wonder why successive Rivers State administrations couldn't call for private investors to take the facility and make it functional. Useless people.
