This is what will happen before and during the 2023 presidential election

President will not be produced from the north west or south west because those region have benefited more from politics since 1999.in fact the fastest way for APC to Lost power is to zone it to south west. This is because both Obj as president and osinbajo as VP are from south west.

All the 5 Igbo state governors will decamp to APC before 2023 to back Igbo presidency.

During primary an Igbo presidential candidate will emerged from south east. This is the fastest way for APC to keep power because the PDP will deeply be defeated if there is no South East backing.

The north can as well deceive the south west and give power to north east because that region is yet to produce president too.

The south west and 2023 presidency should not be in the same sentence or better still be taken to the joke section. They are already enjoying their betray support they gave buhari by producing the VP and Speaker.

I know the are glamouringvfor president because the support president buhari but will itvbe proper for north west to produce a vice president after buhari for supporting south west?

Make una kwontinue. No more rotation/zoning of the presidency, abi?

Persons like Ogbonnaya Onu, Chris Ngige, Chibuike Amaechi, are not fit to succeed PMB, except a Yoruba, abi, the Yoruba we all acquiesced in 1999 to take the presidential tickets of the two foremost political parties because of rotation/zoning?

I see Yoruba returning to NADECO 11 when Arewa person succeeds PMB in 2023. But this time, there shall be no Alex Ekwueme with his G33 to convince Arewa to surrender Aso Rock to anyone again.

What are the specific skill sets he brings to the government that makes him a prime candidate. What is he good at that will add value to government or change the drift or narrative about ...that perhaps no other candidate can muster. What is his vision for this country, or is he just good at 'organising people to do things'.

So far his body language reads that he feels Nigeria is running well and only requires tweaking resource management to bring her into a 21 century of peace and prosperity. Has not really said much else. Looks like an establishment man. Steady with the status quo. Shake no tables, ruffle no feathers...

Can Nigeria be made to work like that?

I remember in 2015_ when Nigerian fell for oratory and smoothness instead of sound economic principles and practicality.

Many people have been cured of that stupidity.

APC wants to remain in power, and I think they have done their job well in that regard, they as well want eastern votes and so I see that APC will likely give the ticket to Southwest presiden and southeast vise president and senate President to northeast.

I am of very strong opinion that if the north could vote for Jonathan during his time , they will gladly do it for a southwestern president, most especially the one they know like in OBJs case

The current presidency has failed nigerians
with their woefully performance amd is the the worst govt the sh1t hole country ever had

Osigwanjo is part and parcel of this failed admininstration, if he has any conscience and common sense he shouldnt even dream of becoming president
The office of the vice president of Nigeria is not as authoritative and powerful as you think. He has to be loyal and obedient to his Boss.

That's where you are wrong.Races for political offices in Nigeria are highly tribal. 2023 will not be an exception

A man that tells you that you need to lock your shop and chase rats is not for the interest of general majority.

And it indeed happened as they said.

They actually tried to chase rats while locking the shops.

The consequence is that the customers left, while rabbits entered to eat what is remaining in the shop.

Most of the osinbajo supporters are tribal induced.

That's not in doubt.
Talking to them is a waste of time.

My post was addressed to those who are voting for him on the misguided opinion that he is genuinely competent.

Those voting for him on tribal basis are not my concern.

I love the fairness and integrity of vice president Yemi Osinbajo but he has not done well at all in managing the economy of Nigeria. Under his watch as the coordinator of the economy we have experienced two very previous recessions that has led to loss of jobs, running inflation, several devaluation of the naira, closure of many businesses and Nigeria has become the world capital of poverty. Osinbajo specifically said he was in charge of the economy as soon as Buhari inaugurated his cabinet in 2015, in this regard he has not performed well. Though he is a good man.

I love the fairness and integrity of vice president Yemi Osinbajo but he has not done well at all in managing the economy of Nigeria. Under his watch as the coordinator of the economy we have experienced two very grevious recessions that has led to loss of jobs, running inflation, several devaluation of the naira, closure of many businesses and Nigeria has become the world capital of poverty. Osinbajo specifically said he was in charge of the economy as soon as Buhari inaugurated his cabinet in 2015, in this regard he has not performed well. History and Posterity will remember him as the man whose economic policies led to increase of price of 50kg bag of rice from N8500 as at when they took over in 2015 to N27000 as at 2020. The value of naira to the dollar moved from N190 to $1 as at when they took over in 2015 to N450 to $1 in 2020. If we put sentiments aside, the failure of Buhari in the poor management of the economy is directly traceable to vice president Yemi Osinbajo. His abysmal performance is enough to know his competence. However, he always prefer to deceive ourselves with blind sentiments. Though he is a good man and love his persons but I am disappointed with his performance.

If Osibanjo was made the president in the last elections (2019), things might be as bad as they are now.
The few times he was in charge, there was semblance of leadership.
Peter Obi of PDP or Osibanjo of APC can bring some changes.

Yemi Osinbajo has been efficiently representing Buhari's administration in areas of economic strategies and reform. His education reflects in his ideologies and he is one political leader that is not there for his full mouth but crave the best for the future of Nigeria. Yoruba educated leaders are very much progressive and non sentimental. Prof Osinbajo is a better candidate than any politician on the other side.

He is a good man, there is no doubt about that. However, Yemi Osinbajo has performed poorly as the coordinator of the economy in the Buhari administration. The economic policies endorsed by Vice president Yemi Osinbajo is the reason Nigeria is the world capital of poverty, is the reason why price of 50kg bag of rice has jumped from N8500 to N27000, is the reason why $1 =N450, is the reason why CBN charge you when you deposit or withdraw. I can go on and on. For governance we should learn to assess people based on performance indices and not based on sentiments. He is a good man but has he managed the economy very well?

I might either go for Peter Obi or Amaechi or probably Jonathan.....
