This is funny. This only happens when you depend on another person solely to lead you towards the path of success, but you must do it yourself. Its the basic rule of the game.

Chances are that she is good. And if she is given the spotlight, the master will be outshined. No one wants that no matter how noble they are. To be successful, being talented, good, ethical, virtuous or other morally excellent is not enough, you must also be skilled in game theory, expertise and play like a pro. Those that plays the award winning game called "monopoly" should understand this easily. There are far more talented musicians in the populace but they won't go farther because they expect "mtn project fame", or the crumb from others like olamide to make them great. That's a route for loosers and the untrained mind.

So called project game, olamide and others are humans like you, with flesh and blood, playing their game right, not expecting someone else to give them the spotlight. Its a choice of being a zoo lion, who wait for the zookeeper to feed him meat he doesn't even like, or be a jungle lion, who go out there and grab whichever meat he wants, either antelope, elephant, buffalo or even humans. Be smart.

Then why did he sign her? For some record labels, their artiste careers is just to sign different talents like throwing mud at the wall and see which sticks. Indie (ie Alte) artiste in Nigeria should run their own S. hit. Stop signing contracts they don't benefit you. And her was 5 yrs. 5 fuc.king years of not releasing songs. No new artiste should sign more than 2 years contract max. They can extend it later.
