Her style has similarities with Simi et al, only that she is better as she's an instrumentalist, but like she said she for reason(s) best known to Olamide wasn't given extreme exposure and access to booked performances and/or shows.

I believe Olamide mismanaged this artiste. You should listen to her sing "holy water". She is quite good and young too. This should to serve as a warning to young artiste who are enticed by the the urge to "blow" or be recognized by the older cats in the game. Many of them can be predatory and have survived in the Music business that way. It's better to start small and promote your sh. it on social media by yourself than to be signed to a self serving record label that will promise you the world but won't allow you to release your music. This is the same thing that happened to Lyta. Go with your lawyers. No 360 deals. And what you should be discussing is how many albums and videos the record label will release for you during the contract and not which car or apartment they will give you under the contract.

The other thing is that her sexual oreintation may not be marketable in Nigeria. I persoannly have nothing with it. But this is where the record label should have come in with good PR.

This young lady was one of us here on Nairaland years ago. And I used to chat with her on a particular social media platform, which I can't really recall right now.

She used to be a cool and calm girl. And I was elated when I heard about her move to YBNL (Whatever that means).

So sad to know that things went from good to bad for her...
