Ok, thank you. I really appreciate.
Mmamaroon:

If the PA has their IETLS results and ECA, please go ahead........you can add spouses details when spouse receives IETLS results and ECA.

PPR... Finally.

I came across this thread on Nairaland some months after AOR, in fact we were already PPR expectant and reading PPR/landing gists, gave me great joy.

To appreciate how long and frustrating this journey was, I'll say this:

I unexpectedly fell preggers like that my friend Linda grin. This was few months after AOR

We were excited about the intending Canny baby.

Let's sha say that AVO and Covid dashed that dream. That baby that was formed few months after AOR will clock one in a few months time.

E shock una abi... So you guys will appreciate how myself and many others waited for this PPR like no man's business.

It has definitely ended in Praise and Thanksgiving.

PPR will fall on every single one waiting by the grace of God. Amen

To all those that mentioned me and prayed for this, THANK YOU

Many thanks @mmamaroon
The child belongs to the PA and was added as a dependant. We could not submit her medicals and passport at the point of submission due to unavoidable issues and this was explained with LOE. However, the medicals and passport was done later and we raised a webform to submit both.

Also, the child was listed as unaccompanying. Is there still need for proof of full custody(PA is the biological father of the child).
Mmamaroon:

Log into your GC Key and cross check that you added the child/step child as a dependent. Check that you have done medicals for them (PCC & Biometrics too, if they are over 18 years old). Also ensure you have enough POF to cover them.

Reconfirm that you have uploaded all these as well as the placeholder items for children: passport, eMedicals form, photo & birth certificate.

If PA's step child is accompanying, then PA may need permission of the other biological parent (not spouse) or court docs showing PA has full custody.

The golden email visited us yesterday. It's PPR and we're grateful for the faithfulness of our God who's made this possible.

On this journey, every opportunity is golden, don’t procrastinate. For instance, if we had taken another IELTS to improve our scores and possibly max out on all; we’d have gotten the surprise ITA of 437 in January 2019. Since getting an ITA directly under the Federal Skill Workers stream was out of our reach given our ages, we started learning French by 3rd quarter of 2018 as that was the only option aside provincial nomination. The latter (Provincial nomination: Self-employed, tailoring NOC) that got us the ITA, and the rest they say is history.
!
Hi, please can u explain this part well- did u get Prov nomination with tailor as experience -
I also sent you PM.

If I may ask, why do you want to decline your ITA?

Simply because i cld not get reference
Letter from a particular place of work and the other one I still has 3yrs work experience in it.

You don’t have to decline. I remember you mentioned this the last time and I suggested you move the other work experience to your personal history.

You don’t have to decline ITA , please

Unless I am mistaken, let me paint a scenario and you confirm if that’s what you mean.

Before ITA, you used two companies/roles to claim points
- ABC Company & Sons (XYZ years)
- DEF Company Limited (3 years)

You can’t get a reference letter for ABC but you have for DEF and it’s 3years, yeah?

So in your work history remove ABC and proceed with DEF using the work reference letter you have.

Kindly confirm the above is your situation.

Lol.. This can't be for real man!! When I have family and friends (made on this journey) who have been crying covertly and overtly, day and night for such a thing as this..?? I lf you are even in some of Wassey's groups, I bet you would feel guilty for this kind of post as I'm sure this would make them feel depressed the more...

Chai!!! He even said "simply because..." shocked

Since, I'm claiming points for both work experiences combined, regardless the same employer, I feel obliged to separate the work experiences, and provide 2 reference letters reflecting the different NOCS, of course with one being the primary NoC.

Now imagine if you were claiming 3+ years for just one of the work experiences (primary Noc), and for the same employer; here its easy to use one ref letter.

(This thing has given me sleepless nights)

Goodmorning all. Please if an applicant did biometrics in 2016 and 2017 and got visitor's visas on both occasions, will he/she be required to do another one when applying for PR this year?
