Well, Sanda's case was blatant...there were witnesses, there was even a police trail/report, and so much proof.

In this case, the man Pius admitted, on camera that he did beat up his wife.

Also, there were rumors that he was a womanizer too. Infact it was when the woman confronted him on his womanizing that led to his assaulting her.(And women , even the nice and submissive ones, don't like it when their husbands womanize. The first case of HIV i saw in my life was spread from a womanizing husband to his faithful and submissive wife. Wife fell sick first)

Well, the problem with beating is that it is under the law assault.

And the problem is, when you lose your temper far too many times, it can get you into trouble if you are an adult.

For example...the daughter of a friend of my aged parents was beaten by her husband, despite having three kids for him, and remaing faithful. Then they moved abroad, he beat her again, and a neigbour called the police without their knowledge.....

At the end of the day the guy wa s not prosecuted because the wife didn't press charges . To hgis credit he hasn't beaten her again and has worked on his marriage (They are still together).

As someone advised me when I was a very tempestuous youngster....if you hurt someone when you are angry, no one is going to ask you about how the anger came about...all they will see is 'You hurt someone'.
