semmyk:Yes I agree. Let's start over. I hope everyone that invested in themap gets their money back, but in the interim let's return to the starting line and start over, and this time with more experience and more appetite for due diligence. There are many non-agritech crowdfunding firms out there that we can start cross-examining. So let's go. |
| Re: Crowdfunding Investment Platforms And Options (non Agritech Categories) by enigmatique(op): 9:41pm On Dec 07, 2020 |
benedictuyi:Lol. Nah I disagree. Copy trading, options, binary options etc. Nah. Those activities make profits and losses based on market fluctuations, not because the company or commodity in question has become more profitable or useful. And as we all know, market fluctuations are totally unpredictable. So no I don't think we should go in those directions. Rather, I prefer we cross-examine companies that actually become more profitable by generating more value e.g a lending platform that becomes more profitable by having more money to lend to people AND THAT AT lower interest rates. (And those lower interest rates might provide some with the critical cash they need to launch new ventures and do stuff that will ultimately make them richer and able to pay loans back quicker.) So cross-examining such companies is the direction that I suggest that we go in. That's my suggestion. |

In fact maybe we should return to this cadence by picking a company to cross-examine every 1-2 weeks. We've done PayvestCarbon and Rent.crow.dy before, so let's move to other companies. I also suggest that folks who frequent this thread like MummyIMadeIt, Pepchizy, benedictuyi, Acidosis, Alkalosis, taiwoliu, syras, PrincipledHuman etc can lead the review of separate companies during separate periods. What do you think folks? enigmatique: |

It's an honour to be mentioned with the people on this list, but my frequency doesn't equate ability or knowledge ooo. Nonetheless, when required I will always give my bits. Quick Question; Are we limiting our options to digital investment (short term) or we might be interested in investment in the real sector (long term)? enigmatique: |
| Re: Crowdfunding Investment Platforms And Options (non Agritech Categories) by semmyk(m): 12:26pm On Dec 08, 2020 |
taiwoliu:I guess the focus is essentially crowdfunding investments that are not primarily Non-Agric It might be that the focus might end up being on crowdfunded-based digital investment (short term). There will be some real sector as well. So I don't think that real sectors are out. We should consider them the same way we research crowdfunded-based digital investment (short term). my opinion. |

My investment experience this year 2020: 60% capital - low risk piggy.vest. used to give 10% p.a but now gives 8%p.a. low risk but at least capital is safe. 20% capital- mid risk - i diversified into about 6 agri techs. lowest 100k, highest 1m. averagely 500k. My experience Farmcenta- so far so good. payment to be next year Kenfarms - been my sweetest experience. 2/3 payments gotten. last one due this month Farmbuddy- they did not pay upon maturity. Still waiting Agropartnerships - so far so good. payment next year Agrorite- so far so good. payment next year Agrilet - so far so good. payment next year 20% capital - high risks - riseinvest - so far so good. I see my returns on my dashboard and it is doing very good. the map crmi- i put 1.4 in this very very risky thing. I was lucky to get 2 payments which covered capital. 20% interest made. this was the riskiest thing I did. I will never try it again MBAF- I joined online in July with minimum 360k so wasn't affected by the no November payments. I have gotten 4/6 payments so far. Things I'm looking forward to next year- probably do more of rise invest and other mutual stocks. steer clear very crazy investments such as themap. reduce agritech exposure. most of them are now defaulting switch from mbaF to addyF. same 360k. fx is so risky to stake a lot |

Bcpump:This is a really cool analysis, I am going to learn from this and spread my risks better. If I got 2/3 (I only got 1/3) from The.Map, I would not even stress, it's looking like a lost cause, I am glad I did only 1 unit to test run. My foxygreen, eatrich and Kenfarms investment went quite well, would be trying one of them out again next year. Piggy.vest is still my major investment platform, I am looking for a secure low-risk investment platform that offers a better rate. I tried out Forex Trading this year, the loss was more than the profit, I am not doing such a silly thing again. |

However, we are all smart and brilliant and by continuing to pool our time, perspectives and experiences, we will all learn even more. Anyways, MummyIMadeIt mentioned a company that's particularly interesting in these times of the depreciatiating naira. Say, what do you folks say about us reviewing rise.ve.st next? |
| Re: Crowdfunding Investment Platforms And Options (non Agritech Categories) by enigmatique(op): 12:39am On Dec 09, 2020 |
taiwoliu:For now- or at least this thread- I suggest we limit the investments that we look at to just web-enabled/digital investmests of low-medium risk. UPDATE: Actually I think semmyk has a good point with the below. Since we've taken a look at rent.crow.dy, then some form of real estate investment is not off the cards. The main points just are probably that they must be web-enabled investments that use crowdsourcing. semmyk: |

exoticeve:Risevest are profe.ssional asset mana.gers that help people in.vest in 3 foreign assets. 1) EURO.BOND: 10-12% p.a.ROI(Return Of Investment) of guaran.teed low risk. 2) US REAL ESTA.TE: 13-15% p.a. ROI, of medium risk (not capped). Last year recorded 17%. 3) US STO.CKS: 12-14% p.a. ROI of high risk (not capped). Last year record.ed 27% . Made up of 20+ high growth sto.cks. You don't need a dom account for it. You can fund in naira which becomes dollars on the app, You can invest for 3, 6 or 12mon.ths and rollover to com.pound your interest. The ROI above is per annum but because of the value of dollars and Naira devaluation (high dollar to naira rate that keeps increasing) it's worth more than the figures stated. For the Euro.bond and RE you can invest for 3mon.ths, 6 or 12mon.ths and you can add money any time you want. For sto.cks you can invest as long as you want and with.draw any time. You can in.vest with as low as $10 and top up your inves.tments at any time. There is also a tele.gram gro.up where impor.tant finan.cial infor.mation & educ.ation are shared. The admins also respond to enquiries or complaints fast there too. If anyone want to in.vest with Rise.vest kindly use my refer.ral co.de MISF3KC8 Thank you ![]() |

Bridget001:A review should contain sections like (but not limited to): - About the Company. - Interest rate offered. - Investment channel/medium. - A list of the company's key executives with links to their LinkedIn profiles. - Sustainability of the business. - Link to the company's FAQ. - The nsurance cover on investors' funds if any. - Limitations of the company/investment product. - Pros. - Cons. - Summary. You can take a look at the one I did for PayvestCarbon below for inspiration. enigmatique: |
