What is here to be crying? Olodo. Did you care to check how Nigeria was booming economically when it was agricultural driven economy until the discovery of oilhuh You will only see the cow on the note because your tribalism won't allow you to see other agricultural products.

What has education given to us rather than training lazy bigots like you who buy data to come online and say rubbish you have no idea of just because you can read and write.
is that why you are killing human for cow sake? Sharing thesame country with cows nor easy oh

Some people will just talk like they've gathered the whole information on google.its common sense to know that a country wont survive solely on agriculture.especially,if they specialize in one crop.

Is it worst than the genocide carried during the civil war.
Our civil war was not genocide compared to Rwanda. We were not as barbaric.

I guess it's just a tribute to the Rwandan child considering how much of them lost their lives in the 1994 genocide involving the hitsu and the tutsi tribes. It's was a sad one though.

Depends on the angle you look at it from - One represents focus on ICT while the other looks at the agriculture side of the economy. Both are good.

He said "richest countries". Last time I checked Thailand is still a developing country, classified by the world bank as a developing economy.

Besides, what do you gain by insults? Does that make you feel better about yourself? angry

Mention one country that's in the top 50 most richest countries in which they get rich through farming?

More than 70% of people living in the north are farmers, but they are still have the highest number poorest people in the world.

Most of the top poorest countries in Africa depends on farming.
Don't mind those fools that think agriculture is the solution to our problems. Just check the list of the most poorest countries in Africa, their main source of income is agriculture but they are poor as f*ck.
Re: This Picture Makes Me Cry by Nobody: 2:42pm On Dec 09, 2020
Agriculture is so good that government have been spending money looking for oil in the north, lol. So called food basket of the nation is among the poorest state in Nigeria.

Despite the genocide of 1994, Rwanda has been able to lift itself out of mud. Sad history but great rebirth.
Nigeria, we hail thee.

You are ignorant.

First of all, those pictures are symbolic.

Second, education does not begin and end in classrooms.

As educated as you claim to be, do you have the knowledge on how to milk a cow?

I am sure you don't know.

A small illiterate boy from Maiduguri will teach you how to milk a cow, and what to do with the pails after milking. They will tell you a lot about milk preservation, and all kinds of milk preservations.

Education can be got anywhere.

I noticed its a trend here on NairaLand, everyone wants to pounce on the next bloke. To show he's learned and exposed. Well, that's really not my problem,my problem is, the way they go about it. Always ready to start with insultive words. Like this one. The moment i saw "you are obtuse", i lost interest. However,i decided to just read what you wrote, then i discovered,in the rush to banter me and show superiority, you missed the whole thing. Go through the whole conversation again and quote the right person.

And yes, i am not obtuse

As if we're in 18th century. This is 21st century for fvck sake, not Agrarian period of time. You don't need half of a country to turn to farmers before food can be surplus. What the country needs is a good environment where farmers won't be scared to go to their various farms. What these people don't know that insecurities is one of the things that contributes food shortage in Nigeria. Like in zamfara, banditry ravaging that state is the reason for the high cost of onion. This the same country farmers are paying ransom to bandits so that they can harvest their crops, which means the price of that crops will be high. The more people go into farming in those area, the more money for bandits and the more price of crops will be affected. So what's the essence of people going into farming if we are still facing the same problem (high price in food or food shortage)?
Nigeria is a country that mostly depends on manual labor, which is tedious and time wasting. We are still using cutlass to clear plots of farmland, hoe to make heaps of sand to plant crops on. You should know how time wasting this could be. There are farm machineries that can do job of 20 people faster, easier, and finish the job within a short period. Work that'll take 20 people to do in a week, farm machinery like mower will do the same job in a day. How many farmers in Nigeria even own a tractor, but in USA you can't see a farm without a tractor. What it'll take 4 farmers in US with farm machineries four months to do, it'll take 20 farmers in Nigeria a whole year to do.
If Nigeria like make d whole country de farm, Nigeria go still face the same issue if we're not smart. We'll just working like elephant and still eating like ant, exact thing happening in the North. Despite the fact most of them are farmers, hunger is still fvcking them up. Nigeria just needs 12% to 13% of the population in the farm with the right settings and the remaining percentage can face other things. This is common sense now. angry

History shouldn't be forgotten just like that hence the reason Rwanda is trying to make imprint it.
Instead of "crying", understand why the image was chosen for our notes.
