This torso bust was my first ever sculpt both digital and otherwise.
_
I made this sculpt about two weeks ago as a feature-test project when I discovered this app. At the time, I didn't have access to a laptop (still don't), and I wanted terribly to develop my digital sculpting skills so I sought for alternatives and I discovered the app (for myself grin). 'Seek and ye shall find' I believe the saying goes.
_
Enjoy wink

I been under the weather lately so I haven't been able to create anything from my wide collection of inspiring refs.
.
This one was created after the torso bust. This' the project I used to test out the layering and painting capabilties of the app before I started on the Homer project.

Here's a little WIP ta wet yer eyes!

I've been on and off with this one cause I didn't really know what direction to take it. It started to look like something so I slapped a skin Matcap on it so that I could post it here.

Hope to finish soon.

I've been playing with this android app lately,
It's called "spacedraw". Relatively difficult to understand and use but for those with prior knowledge in 3d modeling, it should only take a few tries to put a handle on it.

I closed up the holes on the head base mesh I made yesterday.
`
First three images are inside of spacedraw before I exported the model as an obj file and opened it in nomad.
The last image is the same head model rendered with a matcap inside of nomad after a couple of subdivisions and smoothing.

Loading-ding-ding loading... Good song no?
`
Halfway there with this one, which is pretty much all of the way there; see, most times in 3d modelling all you have to do is create half the model, mirror that shii and voila!

EXERCISING MY PHOTO EDITING SKILLS
`
So I decided to try integration to get a nice render out of this model. Even though I have not completed the model, I think it came out okay.

I've been making matcaps!
`...and then I got carried away playing with 'em. Haha.. It's fun though.
`
I scoured the net and I just could not find an "african skin" matcap, so I decided to make one ...and I digressed :-) :-)
`
P.S. Some are mine, most aren't, sculpt is mine (WIP from last year)

Final images have been cooked
`
PIC 1: Nomad raw render + clay render
PIC 2: Edited final (I tried to fake sss in post)
`
Over 630k faces on this model, I wanted to do strand hair and beard and eyebrow but I realized it was a bad idea when the vertex count entered millions and my phone started to lag so I decided against that idea.

Whatever you do for money, try to see it from the POV of a hobbyist; makes it easier to do.
