They should pay their taxes and I like to think they do. However, some of these state government would say one thing, you do it, they say another. Sometimes it looks like when they are broke, they just look for one bank to seal.

Every organizations with 20million and above as annual profits are liable to pay CIT(Company Income Tax) to FIRS
The same company will pay PAYE to state Government, business premises etc
They also pay business permit to local government

Banks doesn't pay tax in Lagos. Don't say what u don't know. Banks only pay tax to the federal government. Only local government collect money from banks, money like parking space, environmental/fumigation certificate, business permit within the local government which are even negotiable. Only in south south and southeast u see governors harassing banks

Thank you! I am very sure I know what I am saying. Governors in SE/SS do this a lot. They will just wake one day, come up with one bill and slam the bank with it. Abia State government is the worst of them all.
