To enter safe mode, just press and hold the power button, just like you would when turning off the device. Once the power off icon pops up on your screen, tap and hold it for a second or two, select OK, and just wait for the device to reboot. That's it.........

So I visited a friend few days ago, when I wanted to sleep, I tried to disable the fingerprint but I couldn't find the settings, so I have to restart my phone cos fingerprint doesn't work until you input your pattern.

Those using a7 pro, I found out how to disable fingerprint if you want to sleep.
Go-to settings, tap display, tap advanced, tap lock screen display, then activate show lockdown option.

How to disable the fingerprint, hold the power button, tap lockdown. Your fingerprint has been deactivated, you can only open your phone with the pattern or pin.
