In a statement made available to Ummah world media, Ameer said anyone should avoid possible confrontation with the family or any other parties involved . He said whosoever wishes to take part in her burial can perform the prayer for her in absentia, known as Solatul Ghayb.

In his own words , " We have not lost any battle. It is enough for us to observe salatul gayb for her. And even with or without salatul janaaza, the woman made serious sacrifice and died a Muslim. Her reward is with her Lord."



In our investigation and information available to Ummah world media, it was alleged that the faction of the family that was Christian had hijacked the burial and denied her to be buried according to Islamic tenets. It was also alleged that the family had denied her good care while she was alive because she refused to renounce her faith as dictated by some of the members of the family.

The source close to the family has also alleged that both the Omu Aran Muslim community and CAN( Christian Association of Nigeria ) met to resolved the matter in the presence of police but the children denied saying she never died a Muslim. Meanwhile, other family members allegedly said she died with her kalmatul shahadah.

Our source further said "the Popular Pastor, Bishop David Oyedepo was complicit in trying to lure her out of her faith to join him in Christianity or be perpetually poor "

It was also gathered that some of the family members, Omu Aran Muslim Community as well as some well wishers had tried to bury her in the Islamic way before the corpse was denied them .

Alhaja Fatima Abolore , a leader of a Muslim organisation Criterion/ FOMWAN in the state of the deceased ( that is Kwara state ) , is also said to be at the center of the issue as she has expressed her opinion on it .She is said to be mobilising people to perform the Solatul Ghayb for her.

It was also gathered by Ummah World Media that the chairman of the Omu Aran Muslim Community has been invited by the Police.

The Chief Imam of Omu Aran Muslim community in kwara state was confirmed to have led the entire community in salatul ghaib for her .

Many notable Islamic scholars, Muslim leaders and Muslim communities in Nigeria have called for calm and enjoined muslims and other well wishers to embrace peaceful process to resolve the matter.

It was also said that this is an indication of extreme intolerance and hatred against the Muslims as demonstrated by the faction of the family that denied her burial according to Islamic tensts.

It is part of the right in Islam to burry their dead Muslim and observe salatu janaza. And in absence of physical presence of the deseased, the same prayers can be done in absential.

Many would be surprised on the last day when those they respect as men of God would be rejected by Jesus on the last day because of their works of iniquity.

Jesus said "help and give alms to the poor."

Here's a church leader who keeps bragging about being "dangerously rich," but wouldn't fail at any opportunity to threaten people because of tithes, instead of helping his poor step-mum with some of his riches, would be telling her that she would die poor if she doesn't convert to Christianity.

So what's the difference between Muslims and Christians who criticize them for doing such?

Who knows if the woman would have converted if she was helped and such blackmailing conditions weren't given to her?

Maybe that condition helped her resolve to remain a Muslim, because why would she want to leave the faith she observed for that which someone like Oyedepo was professing?

Really shameful that some would still blindly keep defending this obvious hater and oppressor of the poor.

If Oyedepo didn't take care of her, what about her own children? Are those children wicked and callus?

I don't want to speak for or against here based on the report.
If I am to guess what I don't know (for sure) from that which I know, I think the allegation isn't true. Oyedepo gives to IDP camp where there are muslims and traditionalists and I see no reason to now withhold from a relative because her beliefs.

Firstly oyedepo doesn't owe the woman any explanation on how to use his money, she isn't even his biological mother or father that he is obligated to.

Oyedepo didn't threaten the life of the woman, what we have here is just hypocrisy by Muslims who want to make noise.
