I think it’s on a case by case basis. I asked for a remark hoping to get bumped up from 7 but it wasn’t granted and it took exactly 3 weeks.

Were you expecting us to tell you something else apart from what we reckon ?

The first truth is that the response is not silly, you rather had your mind fixed on something else and wanted a back up comment to soothe your mind irrespective of not knowing you are heading for the rocks...and any other response would sound silly to your mind.

Now let me tell you another truth,
You have indicated that you have an uncle in Canada
This you can not prove post ITA.
meaning that you misrepresented your situation, in another phrase DOCUMENT FRAUD. That is to say the premise in which you obtained your ITA was false. This is also called obtaining by false pretence. You can be jailed if charge to court anywhere in the world for that act.
Do you know that DOCUMENT FRAUD may lead to your rejection, ban and information shared. Meaning UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia would get your fraudulent report and treat you as a fraud.

Now what should you do?
It is two ways.

1. If you haven't submitted your application yet, decline the ITA and return to the pool actively to genuinely claim a new ITA.

2. If you somehow created an uncle for your self and had submitted, query may be raised. Respond accordingly with best fit answers designed to have your application rejected for sake of answers not sufficient enough and avoiding ban or penalty instead just a rejection so you would be safe.

N.B you have used the word silly already so what is your new line now son.

The rule of thumb is this, the lead statement on your chosen noc, is that what you do? Then the job duties, do u at least see like a 70% percent match. If it does, you can give it a try. Have you also checked out noc 1114? If you are in a lead or managerial post and 0122 matches, then go for it, otherwise reconsider. You can also try to pm Newmum0615 for assistance. She sometimes pops in to check the sister thread and she can be of immense help too.

This is well intentioned.....please don't take it the wrong way...... you know the drill

A) Number the NOC duties from 1 to wherever it stops
B) put the appropriate number from A) above beside each of your work experience letter JD duties.

This way you and anyone helping should be able to see if most of the duties have been covered....or not.

I eventually used ETX although I optioned for their delivery only service that is I requested the transcript myself from my school through the portal ETX set up for my school to send it through to WES.

In your own situation, the issue might be from your school as we have all read different stories of our schools delay. What I'll suggest is you either be on ETX neck via all their available channels of communication or you find out if your school has responded to ETX because ETX will communicate with your school through their official email.

You can as well revoke the request and delivery service and option for only delivery service which means you will be the one to facilitate the sending of the transcript. Etc will only provide you with a portal for your school for them to send it through.

ETX till date since 6th of October is yet to collect my transcript from unilag talk less of sending to WES, I don't think I can recommend their service. My husband however was able to evaluate his msc (not a Nigerian school) in under 2 weeks. He mailed the school and they sent his transcript electronically to WES and they evaluated it in no time, they didn't even ask the school for verification, i guess because it came from their official email. I'll advise you explore the option of writing to your school first.

Do you think if some one decides to open a dorm account now because of the fluctuation in rate, will there be an issue given that the account will be new one say "few weeks old" before submission of application.

Please seniors advise- can a dorm account opened within two weeks to submission be for POF bank reference.

I used the "delivery only" services of ETX. Before I did, I was really skeptical cos of the negative comment online. I was surprised that WES got a hold of my transcript within 48hrs of my school sending it to ETX.

The person should opt for delivery only, get a contact in school that will hasten up the process and the rest will be history.
