Newtonis:A highlanders magazine shouldn't be less than 20. Plus check up the nozzles (fuel), exhaust catalyst, and the oxygen sensor. If however, none worked out, consider going down to your mechanic. |

1)use an engine themostate, it helps your car to reach it operating temperature quickly 2)if your fan is connected directly to battery ,it consume energy , take is back to factory settings , where fan blow anytime when temperature reaches half of the temperature gauge, with or without a themostat, so that your car can run on close loop fuel operation, the injector run on open loops fuel operation until temperature reaches half of the gauge 3) test your o2 sensors and replace if bad 4)clean or change air filter ,if filter is blocked it consume a lot of energy to suction air 5) check your exhaust for leakages 6) put fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank to flush your injector nozzles 7) check or change your plugs use your recommended engine oil9) don't drive aggressively or accelerate much 10) check your miles per each gallon, time na money |
