This is fast becoming a trend for the police to 'discharge accidentally'

3 weeks ago its was a newspaper vendor at abuja, 2 weeks ago it was a market woman at bayelsa just last week it was a keke driver at rivers state (when is colleagues protested two more were killed) now its an okada rider at anambra.

It then begs the question are the police still our friend ? what happens to to use of baton or erring offenders ?

We don't pray for a second wave of #endsars but if the police and other security operatives are not careful the second wave will sweep across the country and it will be more deadly.

There is nothing like accidental discharge.

A gun fires a bullet AFTER 3 THINGS ARE DONE.

1. Chamber a round (bullet)
2. Release the safety
3. Squeeze the trigger

Accidents can't happen if the Police keep doing these 3 things.

And proper gun training can break No 3 into 3a and 3b. Don't put your finger in the trigger guard except you have decided to shoot the gun.

Accidental discharge is a concept created by the Police to explain why a person was killed, blaming it on the gun, in order to get away with murder before the courts. It's like saying my car accidentally went to buy fuel with my last N2k?
