I did my biometrics on the October 12, then my biometrics section displayed "We need your finger prints to process your application. Check your messages below for details". However, the date which I performed my biometrics (October 12, 2020) was reflected in my account and also the expiry date shows October 12, 2030. I then received an ADR to submit my "proof of biometrics" on December 09 which I sent through webform to IRCC. Afterwards my biometrics section displayed "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details".

Can anyone ascertain what stage or what is happening to my application? It seems apart from medicals passed, no further progress has been made. IRCC requesting for proof of biometrics, does it signal that I have passed eligibility or security? Please someone help......

No idea why they are still asking you for fingerprints. Does your profile have a biometrics number (one long 20 digit number like that......directly above the biometric date and biometrics expiry date)? If so, I guess everything is fine.

If not, you may also want to reach out to VFS to see if the biometric information was transmitted.

My opinion, there is no issue if the names are actually urs. You can do a letter of explanation to address it or sworn an affidavit of "one same person" see copy on page 1

The main thing is your name as it is written on your passport should be used for your application.

Please it's been over 8 month nau Wes is yet to verify my credentials the message they keep sending is my verification is yet to be send by my institution thou have sent my verification message letter my self twice and also my institution has sent it severally but Wes keeps sending your file is yet to be verified by my school.pleaee what should or can I do

1. Please is it acceptable to show POF as Mutual Fund Letter only without the statement that comes with the letter. I am using gift deed covering 100% of the amount.

2. I part liquidated the funds (N1m) and returned it within a week. If I submit the Mutual Funds Statement which shows this transaction, could this be an issue for me?

I haven't gotten ITA but expect to by the next draw.

Been unable to reach them from Nigeria. Only time I was able to reach them, it was via third party phone call.

Download Skype and subscribe to free calls to Canada for one month. Try from 1 to 2pm naija time and also between 9pm and 10pm naija time. However this is not cast in stone. You gotta keep trying till they pick, some of us have been there before.

Just keep trying and trying. When they pick, go straight to the point:

1. Narrate you situation and make your request
2. Specifically ask for the VO treating your file.
3. Irrespective of their feedback, shoot a mail to the VO

If there is not fishy, you are fine. Keep it simple though. Reduce need for more paper works

Have they also replied by post apart from just email?
Someone I know is in the same situation where school replied their email several times, they were able to call WES and they said they are waiting for a physical copy in addition to the email.
