FEC Approves Reopening Of four Land Borders by fergie001(mod): 5:03pm On Dec 16, 2020

Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the reopening of four land borders with immediate effect, while others will be reopened subsequently.

The Minister of Finance Budget and National Planning Mrs Zainab Ahmed, who disclosed after the week’s virtual FEC meeting, also said restriction on the importation of some commodities, like rice and other products, would continue to be enforced.

The borders opened for now include Seme Border in the Southwest, Ilela Border in the Northwest, Mfun Border in the Southsouth and Maigatari Border in the Northwest.

With d insecurity on d ascendancy what did d closure of these borders really achieved if not inflicting pains and economic hardship on d people. When borders were open farmers were able to farm in peace but Bubu closed borders to cut off arms proliferation into d country but d outcome is heightened insecurities that farmers were being beheaded in their farms.

the benefit of Dangote™.

He has excess inventory of
cement in his warehouses that
he is unable to sell.

Buhari on his own doesn't give
a forck whether people are starving
to death, the same way he is unconcerned
about the slaughtered farmers in
Maiduguri or abducted children in
his home state.
