I'm a man. I never lived in Nigeria and I don't think y'all are any better. You're mentioning flowers as if you don't see American men buying expensive jewelries for their women. American men respect their women. They don't try to control them or try to turn them into house chore machines. They contribute to home keeping and most importantly, they don't go around calling anyone they see OLOSHO. African men are control freaks and they try to cage women while they explore the world. You wanting your women to be like American women but not willing to be like American men is delusional. Men receive these gifts in the US cause they put themselves a position that makes it clear they also have needs. African men are 'the bosses', they shouldn't expect to be treated otherwise.
