Nigeria is a very stupid country I swear, JB should be sued for damage of FG property due to negligence and without following due procedures.
Did they obtain permit to work on that area, who issue permit to JB to work on that area? If they did. What area did work permit allow work to commerce?
Who is the issuer of the work permit.
Did JB do job hazard analysis to know if that area is in good condition.

Nigeria should learn how to use HDPE(High density polyethylene) or Stainless steel pipe instead of carbon steel for underground pipeline.
Carbon steel is mainly recommended for above ground installation.

Question should be asked about the design corrosion per year of the pipe and the erosional velocity.

Don't blame JB yet. Look at that pipe. Does it look at depth? That's barely an inch down the surface

they didn't do any as built survey. costly mistake that we don't joke with in our firm.

Proper due diligence would have uncovered that. It does not have depth, that even make it obviously dangerous
