Dude, that I haven't lived in Nigeria does not mean I've never visited the country. I've visited Nigeria a couple of times and I've spent 10 years on Nairaland. My parents are Nigerians and I have relatives there. I watch Nigerian films and I follow all the happenings over there. So I need not live there to know about the culture. Your questions make little to no sense when you consider the fact that the majority of those who are saying Nigerian girls should be like their American counterparts haven't lived in the US too. Some have only visited while many have never even crossed the Nigerian borders.

So why were you then asking how I got to know about men in Nigeria knowing fully well that I don't need to live there to know about the culture? I pointed that out to you so that you'd see there was no sense in those questions you asked me in your first post cause even people talking about American women haven't lived in the US too. I have relatives. They buy gifts for their wives, their wives buy gifts for them. But most importantly, they treat their wives as equals. My father would cook if my mum was on night shift. My father was doing virtually everything my mum was doing, it was just a matter of who was available. They accepted the North American lifestyle and lived with it. I'm afraid I can't say that for other families in Africa.

It's not all American men that buy gifts for their women. It's also not all American women that buy gifts for their men. They don't share cars for men in America too. So when you go around saying Nigerian women should be like American women cause of a few videos you see online, you should also consider the fact that it's not all American women that buy gifts for their men.

Am only following up ur response that d guys celebrating American ladies haven't been to d states just as u have never been to Nigeria. So if u say u haven't been to Nigeria yet u no d culture because of ur relatives, then how can u then claim that d guys who celebrate American ladies don't no d culture when u don't no if they have relatives in d US?

Recently, I followed a break up story and some leaked chats of a white lady and a black guy.

First slide was the lady telling the guy to send her an Uber and the second slide was the guy saying he booked a flight for her. The lady didn't even say thank you.
