And (with clear inside information) Pls wat warranted the promotion of Abayomi over Buratai, Instead of simply retiring him and give him a political post.

Clear Answers pls.
Gen Olonisakin is senior to Buratai and definitely COAS, CAS & CNS are going to salute him any day. Olonishakin is member of course 25 while Buratai is course 29. Them no be mate at all.
Moreover the position of the CDS is reserved for the most senior in the armed forces, theoretically the office of the CDS is the clearing house amongst the Tri-service though the office holds no direct command of any of them and the various Chiefs can report directly to the President.

Thanks,

Ur last paragraph is already known 2 mi,

Wat I meant is, " Y Him" ?

Plus his yrs in service is over "42", Buhari could have simply retired him and appointed someone else.

Is he reverend is the military ?
Is he a former Buhari " Boy" ?

Finally,

Is there any course "26" to course "28" still in active service ?
That decision is a political one especially at that level, it is the same reason why the service Chiefs are still in service despite surpassing the stipulated number of years in service and even age. It's purely at the discretion of the C-in-C to hire and fire whoever he likes. Except the national assembly amends the law there is nothing that can be done about it.

To your last question all the coursemates of the present Service Chiefs have all long retired. Infact non of the present crop of Major Generals met any of the service Chiefs at NDA.

totally depends on the situation.
if you meet COAS first, you salute him, if CDS comes to join you guys, The COAS put you at attention and HE (COAS) salutes the CDS while you are at attention.

i believe if you see both of them at the same time, you salute the most senior officer which is CDS.

All I wanted to know was if navy continued with their screening as scheduled which @ Koes confirmed and based on that I am hopeful the list would be out soon.
The death of Gen. Irefin which led to about 26 military officers attending the COAS conference testing positive to Covid 19 most definitely affected the proposed screening. Though not sure, I believe the chairman of the selection board must have been attending the conference before its abrupt suspension.

The conference started on 7th December and was cancelled on 10th December 2020.

As at 13th December, the 417 officers who attended the conference were tested for Covid-19 and advised to self isolate. Other staff at the army hq were also tested with hq eventually being fumigated and Covid-19 guidelines strictly adhered to. Meaning activities are still going on at the army hq irrespective of the incidence.

As at 14th December 2020, 26 army personnel have been implicated in the Covid-19 pandemic.

Covid-19 self isolation period is between 10 -14 days. For the 391 officers who tested negative, they must observe the self isolation from probably 13th to 27th December 2020. For the 26 who tested positive, their recovery from Covid-19 is based on how well their immune system is fighting the virus and responding to treatment. So most of them would be discharged on a different day.

The questions that are begging for answers are:
1. Is the military secretary in charge of this recruitment amongst those self isolating or amongst those receiving treatment?
2. Is the selection board chairman amongst those self isolating or amongst those receiving treatment?
3. Is any or some members of the selection board amongst those self isolating or amongst those receiving treatment?
4. Is the military much concerned about this recruitment and putting everything in place to continue this recruitment in earnest? My answer is yes, reasons being that, with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic it seemed like there would be no recruitment but the army still deemed it fit to enlist amidst its tight schedule. Also considering the ongoing RRI enlistment, one would find out that age requirements was relaxed to 35 years as maximum as against the 27 or 28 used in the past. This clearly signifies the need for more manpower be it officer or rank and file.

Based on all of the above, I believe commencement
of screening will most likely fall on any day between 4th to 9th January 2021. And if the military secretary and the chairman of the selection board are luckily not amongst the 26 officers presently receiving treatment, list should be out around 27th or 28th December 2020. My assumptions are based on my emotions and the army new style of short time notice as against the 2 weeks grace period given in the past.

Please lets remember the 26 officers in our prayers, it's my prayers, they recover fully.

Victory is from God Alone.

The Situation Report from the Guys of Sector 2 and 3 of the OPLD in the NE ain't a Joke, Manpower is Undoubtedly Needed in LARGE NUMBER... + The overstretchig of the Army Duties to Curbing the Menace of Kidnapping and Banditry in the NorthWest, definitely They will surely Need more Hands...

Koes calm down and understand... there’s been many many discussions about SSC/Dssc screening, thoughts about postponing it too.. but they’ve never thought of suspending it indefinitely.. the screening MUST hold in January in the cycle must continue.. besides this signals came out just a couple of days ago, and it was referring to army in-house courses

Hello guys

I’m not here to scam anybody

But while we wait

For those going for the naval interview

And for those expecting the army to shortlist them

If you know you have hepatitis B

I’m not saying what’s working for me will work for you

But you can give it a try

I attended 3 NDA interviews in the past 61rc,64rc and 65rc

I successfully completed 61rc

64rc I was dropped for flat feet

65rc I was dropped for hepatitis B

I didn’t treat

I just ignored

I went for ssc course 46 and was dropped again for hepatitis B

Last year I didn’t apply

But this year I found myself working with one general who is an engineer officer

So after showing he is ready to help me

I decided to apply for dssc this year

I have it in mind that if I get shortlisted for the interview

That I would tell him I have hepatitis B
If he wants me to proceed with the interview

Fine

And if it’s something he can’t cos most officers don’t like to involve themselves with medical related issues

Then fine I continue as a civilian

So I was passing my junction one day and I heard these guys with public address system saying they have the cure for it

So I patronized them and took what they gave me for 10 days which is the prescribed dose they said

After taking it for ten days (1 bottle costs just 100 naira)

I went for test (the same lab I usually run the test)

So when I got there, she asked me if I was taking something

I asked why

She said the thing is reducing

I now told her

She said the thing is working o however still positive

That I should continue

I took it for another 7 days

And went back for test

This time around the test came out positive but she couldn’t see it with her eyes (she had to use a magnifier)

She told me that if it’s someone who doesn’t know I have it

The person would say I’m negative

Since then I haven’t taken it cos I’m on one antibiotics drugs

So I decided to try what she said by going to other clinics to check

And the result for my test came out negative

Since what I’m preparing for has to do with the military

I now decided to go to mambilla barracks Abuja to do the test in military hospital

I told them to do it twice

They did it and it came back negative

It’s however still positive with a magnifier

But the normal eyes will see it as negative

So as soon as my antibiotic dose is completed

I will go back to taking my herbal mixture which costs 100 naira per bottle

The name of this herbal mixture is sawaba herbal

If you stay in Abuja you would heAr this a lot

The mixture however smells badly

Like shit

But for result

I think you guys should try it
Just 100 naira per bottle

Try it and see if it will work for you

I know you guys would want proof of the negative result I got I would post it in the next post

Have a nice day guys

And for this sake

I don’t even want the result to come out anytime soon so those of us with it can buy time to get treated

I also eat sugar cane too

Heard it’s good for it as well

I decided to add sugar cane cos it’s my normal routine

Bro I sent you a pm please reply
