A guy named paul wrote a letter to his friends in Thesselonia 2000 years ago, telling them about some invents that might soon take place . Fast forward 2000 years later a dumb guy in a remote city in nigeria finds the letter and concludes that he is the one the letter was written for. And proceeds to put fear in the lives of his friends and neigbour.

The Lord Jesus Christ himself talked about the rapture in Matthew 24 from verse 31.... "After the tribulation of those days....... The son of man shall descend from the cloud, and send his angels with a great trumpet, and gather his elect from one part of the earth to the other"

It is stated clearly by the Lord Jesus... Paul just explained the events!, through the inspiration of the holy Spirit and Revelation of the Lord Jesus

Why do you guys like interpreting books from the point of view of the reader rather than the speaker. For God sake , jesus is not talking to you that is reading it 2000+ years later, he is talkingto his disciples. The desciples asked him a question and he was answering them. They are the ones supposed to witness those things..not you that is reading it...comprende?

Daniel prophesied about the coming kingdoms..and the wars that will take place as each empire takes place...from persia to greece to rome to the present time of iron and clay.....
The last beast was addressed as having the likeness of a man meaning it will be human not a beast, with love, compassion etc. And the promised messiah will usher it in. Isaiah says " they will hammer their swords into plughshares...and learn of war no more. The future is about peace on earth, which the messiah will bring in..and he is doing it at the first try..no second coming arrangements..
