Got to see WW84 last night....
Hmmmm......

The story is great, but they are few forced subplots that I didn't find interesting...

Lord Maxwell and Barbara/Cheetah were fantastic.

There are so much Richard Donner's original Superman movie sprinkling all over WW84 and I disliked it. Too much homage....

Verdict: 7.5

I heard they ditched it and went for a boy scout Superman-ish Diana.

How they gon turn the warrior Diana into a boy scout/ guardian....?

I have not seen the movie but from the reviews I saw, it seems WW84 did a 180 from the first movie....

Remember how Diana was like a warrior in the first movie, with the shield and sword and slashing through enemies. She was a fighter through and through.

In WW84, it was different, so I heard. Diana ditched the warrior vibe and became some kind of guardian/protector. The kind of vibe you'd get from Superman. No more heavy violence as she ditched the sword and shield. I heard she did a lot of talking with Cheetah, which is unlike the first film where she just sought to end Ares.

So how do you feel about Diana ditching the Warrior vibe for a guardian/ Superman-ish method?

Does this change impact the movie positively or negatively?

For me I kinda like the Diana with the sword and shield that went toe to toe with Ares and Doomsday like some fearless Greek hero.

I saw someone blaming it all on Geoff John, does he still have any creative control over dc movies? Well, WW84 is an old movie so it’s possible

why can't DC call the people that did man of Steel back to make movies for them. Wonder woman 1984 was too terrible for a company to be terrible in 2020.

Last part of the movie was a pure trash, maxwell Lord was just shouting useless villain words
