Nigerian singer and songwriter, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed staged as “Bella Shmurda” rose to fame after singing a remix of his song “Vision 2020” in 2019 with YBNL boss, Olamide Baddo.

Bella is Lagos born and he is also referred to as “fineboibella”. The 23 years old artist Stylist category is Hip hop, Afro beat, and R&B.

He came up with the name “Shmurda” from one of his favorite American Rapper and Songwriter “Bobby Shmurda”. So he then modified the “bobby” to “Bella” and goes by the name “Bella Shmurda”.

Bella started his music career in 2013, in which he describes as “Conscious sound” – a wakeup call to people.

One of his mentor and inspiration is Olamide Baddo because he represents the street.

In 2019, bella had about 30 songs (8 tracks published and 22 tracks unpublished).

At the early stage of his music career, his mother wasn’t in support of his music due to the lifestyle of some artistes in the industry today, but over time she began to love his songs and he had her full support and prayers.

He strongly believes that when mom is happy, success will come. And this has given him lots of Joy after he won his mum’s heart with his music.
