Whosoever is born of God does not sin...

* ''Does not'' is in the present continuous and how possible is it that you can't sin.

How possible? Was Jesus Christ not born of the Spirit of God? And was He, Jesus Christ, not without sin?

was Jesus not Human? He is the new Covenant standard set for us humans after all-no longer is Adam the standard for those who believe in Jesus Christ.

The whole context of 'whosoever' from verse 8 to verse 9 is not referring to Jesus but to prospecting Christians. Stop sugar coating.

Jesus Christ, the New Covenant, Lived the Covenant He came to give to the world. So, "Whosoever" obviously would include His person since He was human and He successfully lived above sin as claimed.

Now, when it comes to living above sin, Jesus Christ said the following in the Gospel of John Chapter 8.

John 8 vs 31 - 38

The way to live above sin is to accept and obey His commandments, commandments given and obeyed by Him, Jesus Christ, from the Father above.

"Living above sin"(indefinite) is not the same as 'does not sin'(definite)

It would have made more sense if it says ''whosoever' is born of God, will live above sin" ( that is, it recognizes the fallibility of man and genuine reconciliation by accepting to do his will).

What I just observed is that recent versions of the Bible and over the years have been restructured after some loopholes have been identified. For instance, the recent versions will tell you that;
'whosoever' is born of God will not continue to sin(indefinite)
