A Nairalander Shares Her Christmas Recipe by Juliearth(f): 5:43pm On Dec 24, 2020
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas and I cannot help but thank God for his mercies and the gift of life. In the spirit of Christmas, I will be sharing with you guys my Christmas recipe. Today, the 24th of December, the itinerary is to bake, fry and grill. It just occurred to me to create this thread, so pardonné moi, the preparatory part of the bake-fry-grill routine won't be covered in this thread. I will however share the end result with you.

Re: A Nairalander Shares Her Christmas Recipe by Juliearth(f): 6:11pm On Dec 24, 2020
The pictures are not uploading in the right sequence, but we mueeeve! The plan is to feed 50 families this Christmas. Money is a scarce commodity. Thus, I started saving for this project 12 months ago (few droplets of water can indeed make an ocean overflow), not forgetting support from family.

The grand plan behind Christmas, asides celebrating the birth of our lord and saviour, Jesus Christ, is to reach out to the less privileged in our society and spread love the best way we can. We don't have to be rich to do that. Sharing your food with your neighbour can go a long way. It might be the miracle that this neighbour needs. Likewise, that money in your pocket might also be the miracle someone else needs to stay alive and positive... Let us learn to imbibe the culture of love and good will.

I am sorry, but my hands are tied, you know the pressure that comes with cooking in large quantity and also sharing. I will share the recipe much later when I am done with this task and have rested. Cheers!
