Juliearth:Thank you ma'am the only ingredient I'll disagree with you about is the liver ( as I find it disgusting) but thank you for this beautiful recipe. ![]() BTW what effect does meat stock have on the rice? Also, how did those 50 people react when you bought that tasty food for them? ![]() |

Newman20:You can use kidney instead or even skip altogether. The meat stock gives your rice a rich umami flavour. However, if that is not available, you can use plain water. Just add a little oil, some onions and then curry. Once fried, add some water, some freshly squeezed ginger juice (small quantity), blended green pepper, some bouillon... Bring to a boil and add your rice. Other than the usual thank you, I am not sure of their reaction, reason being that my sisters and some of the kids in my neighbourhood helped with the sharing. I deployed them to take care of that task because I didn't want these people's gratitude to move me to tears and perhaps I wanted to be anonymous to some extent. |

Juliearth:Thanks, I think I'll use kidney when I cook this. I'll prefer to use meat stock as well. And why did you want to remain anonymous? |
