This post was inspired by the other post of the Photos of the burial of Aguiyi Ironsi. the name Adekule Fajuyi may not ring bell like that of Aguiyi Ironsi, He was the first Military Governor of the Western Region. I will not go into details.
Aguiyi Ironsi took over after the first military coup in Nigeria. It was a bloody coup which led to the death of the first prime minister in Nigeria. In retalliation, some Northern military generals retaliated in a counter-coup leading to the death of Aguiyi Ironsi and Adekule Fajuyi.

Back to the story, he is a native of Ekiti State and a memorial park was built for him in the state. If you are looking for where to have fun this season. Fajuyi has facilities that will keep both adults and young ones entertained.

Entrance fee is 500 Naira, however, if you are planning to use your Digital camera, you will have to pay up to 20,000 to use it.

Ekiti State is one of the few states serious about Tourism, This park will compete with any park in Nigeria. It is well maintained.
It has different facilities to keep you engaged. It has a restaurant, a mini pool, kayaking facilities, bouncing castle, art gallery and children play section.

Aguiyi Ironsi didn't organize the first coup. He however help to restore sanity after the coup.
This is the reason why I hate talking about history, it usually hurt a lot of people and there are so many conflicting stories especially about Aguiyi Ironsi. So some guys here said he didn't organize the first coup. But most information available online states otherwise. The post is not to make anyone angry o please.

1. There are so many distorted information about Nigerian history. Every tribe and religion have their own versions
