As someone who want to delve into coding? what should be my first step?

which classes should I sign up for?

Right now the only thing close to machine I'm good at is data science. SPSS, R and those statistical stuffs.

what I hope to achieve with this programming are

web development
forums
applications (games and the rest)
and all of those sort

I need a guiding hand like to lead me from scratch. like; the first language to go for?

I have a laptop. 4gb ram.

I hope to get positive response

Web Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and it's frameworks (especially React), PHP, Node, MySQL, MongoDB or Firebase/Firestore.
This web development stuff is very broad honestly.

For Games: 2D games with HTML5 canvas and JavaScript or 2D and 3D games with c# and Unity 3D or c++ with unreal engine.

You have to start with HTML and CSS, you can use w3schools and html/CSS tutorial video from "code addict" channel on YouTube to learn.
Next is to learn JavaScript. W3SCHOOLS and code addict YouTube channel are the best places I know of.
Next should be React js and Gatsby. Start with these frontend topics first.
