Less than 12 hours left for the Fleet manager to prove he owns 10 corollas.

Maybe he thinks we are jokers here.

Frankly,I see nothing wrong in posting dashboard earnings.

Dashboard earnings have never translated to cash at hand.

Dashboard earnings have never guaranteed steady rental remission.

Dashboard earnings have never proven that the tool(vehicle) and Human Resource( driver) were overworked.

Dashboard earnings will continue to mislead a lot of people as always.

We have seen it all. From the days of Ogunvic, Romanus, Jesuson..... just to mention a few.

How can a fleet manager who claims to own over 10 corollas be bothered about dashboard earnings?
Is he handicapped ?
What stops him from getting into one of his numerous corollas, hitting the road , netting over 800k and displaying for all to see grin

Fingers can't be equal in size.
Rentals fee can never be generalized.

The best Drivers will always negotiate a good deal and be consistent about it.

Terrible partners will keep changing drivers like oloshos grin

Yea, I agree with you... I can say much about earning on dashboard, but what we do with the cash is relative base on our lives situation. It ingrained in me that anyone earning 150k monthly in Lagos is yet to have a life or clear resolution, a standard 3 bedroom now goes as far as 800k, that's like 5 months salary, children school fees and family upkeep. We have lot of work to do, than drawing unnecessary attention, ppl make much more than this, make up artist and Co that carries iPhone 11 up and down, don't even loud their income. Let's just b easy, person wey won deh motivated, go wake when reality hit em... You can force a horse to d stream, but you can never force the horse to drink from it. Same way, you can force ppl to see your dashboard, but you can never force them to reason proper.

This is false.

There is nothing misleading to an investor.

There is nothing misleading about the fact that uber allots 12 hrs driving time daily. How you use the 12 hrs is up to you, nor the fact that earnings are just earnings and that what you decide to do with the earnings sets you apart from the next man.

Investors invest based on the fact that other investors receive between 20k and 30k weekly from drivers. How the investor decides to do that is up to him. You can't hire a non performing driver and then blame it on the earnings posted on a forum. That's just grave stupidity to the power of infinity and proves that you have no business investing in the first place.

You posted that you got ~700k but the highest the owners will get is 150k. Note this the booming period for drivers to pay that token without stress but will find it hard to pay up during the winter, which could lead to the driver owing rentals.

Investors I meant was the owners renting vehicles out. Just like the way riders only see the minimum estimate when requesting for a ride, that's the same way they will only see the earnings you posted not knowing that maximum of 120k goes to them for the month. And maintenance takes a chunk of their income.

No I'm not removing it because it breaks no forum rules. Neither are you a law and order official specifically directed to police this thread.

Hundreds of drivers decide to do what they want to do, same as I. There's an ongoing competition which is pure fun to me. 800k Nov and Dec. Not everyone is up for it and that's fine. All fingers aren't equal. The word impossible doesn't exist. People dey. If you feel bad that I posted dashboard, there's very little I can do about it because I don't control how you feel. Everyone needs extra money. If you're too big to post earnings because you think it's foolishness, again I can't control how you feel. Do you and let the next person be.

The more you know about the vehicle the safer you will be. Run a VIN check and verify critical facts you need to buy a used car with confidence. Check the title status, previous odometer readings and the current market of the vehicle. Do as many checks as possible to ensure you are getting a legitimate offer.

Chief. Again I say to you. Investors are wrong if they make decisions based on earnings posted.

They fact is that investors can reasonably expect between 20k and 30k weekly from drivers. If and investor decides to put a Mercedes Benz of 4million naira on uber and charge 30k weekly, it's his choice even tho it may sound foolish to the next man. Car maintenance is overrated, and that's my personal opinion because periodic maintenance depends on the kind of vehicle you buy. You can't put a defective vehicle on ehailing and magically expect the defects to disappear per mileage driven.

Uber business as a whole isn't for everyone, investors or drivers alike. There are practices that make you successful in business. Uber isn't different. There are cars that go 2 months and all they need is oil change. Again, I can't decide for the investor. It's up to him or her to conduct their own investigation before investing their hard earned money. Uber or something else.

Ciao.

Now you understand there are different boats and you should always stay in yours. Step in the right direction. But no, I'm not new, and you cannot see that I'm still new because you're not a seer and you have minimal information. That's another reason why you think you can authoritatively pontificate on what should, and shouldn't happen. You hoped that being new would be the reason for my "ginger". Sorry to disappoint you.

No suprise at all.... a baby on the job!!!
This is harvest season for drivers but be prepared for the forthcoming reverse season..... It is usually not sweet at all.
Pls kindly make sure you post your dashboard as well.
NOTE: A rentee will easily pay 35k weekly this period but will be hard/impossible come 1st quarter of incoming year.
A wise owner(renter) will slash the weekly fee accordingly therein. But imagine what happens if you are driving for Mr. J the self acclaimed selfish/shrewd fleet Manager..........you will be digging your own grave.
May God provide for all our needs abundantly. PEACE

I understand it's your opinion, but I really think we should put ourselves in the partner's shoes.

Uber cars do not run on fresh air and sunlight. They use mechanical parts that wear and tear, and the prices of these parts increase almost every day.

What you bought for #xx in November has definitely increased in December, and will definitely increase in January. I don't see how someone would reduce his rental price because trips are limited? Will the driver use the car less in January? Obviously no

Any driver who definitely be saving ahead for January. You can start saving your two weeks rent now (60k) instead of waiting for rental reduction.

All, I mean all the prices of parts have increased.

No vex say I quote you sha

For partners getting 35k weekly now....it maybe a hard delivery during winter..

As well with the look of things, a total lockdown might be looming
