come on... So admittedly Chelsea was poor but you believe arsenal wasn't good ystdy.
Did you watch our previous matches this season, or you're judging yesterday's play with the play of arsenal under Wenger featuring ozil, Sanchez and cazorla?

If it's the latter, I'll agree with you that it's the same old arsenal, but if it's the former, then I would say you've not been watching arsenal matches this season.

Arsenal wasn't lucky ystdy, we deserved to win cos we created more chances, threatened more and player well. I don't know weda you wanna see us as Bayern for you to place us to such high standard, but then I'll take that as a compliment
The mighty has really fallen..

And Azeez in the middle...

I am not ruling out Nketiah, he has the same prospect as others.

If Na you Nko? You go sign? He is not getting playing time in situations he deserves. He is seeing a lot of preferential treatment, stagnation or regression of young guns. Auba/Laca/Nketiah are all ahead of him in the pecking order. I really hope he signs but I am worried about losing him.
The good thing is Auba and Laca are aging and there is a stronger chance for him to get more playing time next season but that would depend on Arteta making the right decision.

He won't sign any contract though. It's not rocket science , it's common sense. He doesn't see any path to the senior team anytime soon, so he'll just have to start afresh somewhere in Germany or leagues like France or Portugal.
It's the same reason Angel Gomes didn't sign at Man utd. because there's no pathway to senior team for him anytime soon

All is just needed is for Arteta to convince him that he'll start seeing mins from next season with opportunity to get first team if he performs well. I mean it's just nketiah that's a 2nd striker, so he can keep the competition open between both of them

If he allows balogun leaves, he's allowing potential £50-80m to leave, cos that's what we'll need to potentially fill that cf position in a year or two. So the earlier Arteta sees what we're seeing, the better.

You are on point. I'll rather have young guys running around for us than old men doing hide and seek on the pitch.

Martinelli...... Nketiah......... Saka
Azeez....... Smith-Rowe .... AMN
Tierney.. Gabriel.... Saliba... Bellerin

On the contrary no. @Spy360.

Nketiah is not showing any signs of improvement or the desire to improve. Same as willock.

It shows in his game. Let me tell you something, I was doubtful of Martenelli, I thought he was a flash in the pan, but then I saw his movements of the ball, his passion, his concentration and spirit, I became a little bit convinced, then, he went on injury and I was like that’s it, he is done. We are going to be making excuses for him that it’s because of the injury bla bla bla and that’s all we will ever hear about Martinelli, but guess what, I was absolutely wrong about him and right for giving him a 50:50 chance.

As for Bukayo, I’ve always wondered what Roland saw in him, like I didn’t really get the hype about him. I remember Roland17 bragging about seeing his prospects since when he was in our youth team, guess what, Saka has been my best player since our deep in form, I currently rate his importance to the team more than Aubameyang, I started being impressed with him from our Man City game, and so far, hasn’t disappointed me. same with Tierney, those guys dey give me joy. They put in a 100, week in, week out.

Now compare them to the likes of Willock and Nketiah. When last were you impressed by them. Forget about the goals they score in our Europa match’s with small teams. I mean an important match where they put in an impressive performance. Just name it.

There is no guarantee Balogun will become a star outside Arsenal. How many players have left Arsenal in recent times and become big thereafter? Gnabry and who else?
Chuba Akpom couldn't wait and left, where is him now, Benik Afobe is in Portugal unknown team, Amaechi that rejected Arsenal deal and decided to go to Bundesliga has struggled there and I heard he is currently on loan at league 1 from his Germany team.

Balogun will be stupid if he allows his agent ruin his career. All agents want players to move club because transfers are cash cows for them.

Balogun has a clear path to Arsenal first team. Lacazette has not aged well and will be entering the last year of his contract come this summer. Arsenal has no plans of renewing his contract and would look to move him on come summer.

Auba is also aging and going to decline. Jules who could even be a better striker than Balogun at least according to those who watch our youth teams renewed his contract this summer and pushed for a loan move to a league 1 team where he is currently doing well. That's a young boy who understands that success takes a process.

If Balogun wouldn't renew, Arsenal should let him go. If he becomes next Messi, good for him.

Bros, if you look at your statement you will agree with me that you are not in a right position to rate either Nketiah or Willock as you admitted that you failed in your ratings of Saka and Martinelli despite being put through by Roland.

Nketiah is a goal poacher kind of striker, and he has the ball skills similar to Balogun. He is the record goal scorer for England's U21 in the same group with Alan Shearer and he even accomplished that in fewer games. Someone like Tammy Abraham is down below at 10th despite playing twice as much as Nketiah. For me the reasonable thing to do is to give him time and chance. It will be utmost foolishness to let Nketiah slip off our hands. Remember Gnabry.

As for Willock his problem is poor decision making which in itself is connected to his age and experience. But I know he has the ball skills, energy and movement. Many of us may not realise that he won more tackles than Martinelli and ESR did against Chelsea.

My point is give them time. I believe they will shine if properly managed.

Quite an interesting discuss. From a player and Coaches perspective especially at the highest level. The key thing here is CONSISTENCY and not time. Players can blossom early or later but for you to be considered a starter and a key component of your team sentiments and favoritism aside, you must be consistent with quality performances.

I would not write off any of Nketiah of Willock but would be seriously worried that a martinelli who was good for us before going out for a year is now back again and delivering consistent performances more than the other two . It's worrying and honestly you would expect more from them. Balogun played two games for us but what he showed in two games is more than what Willock and eddyy have shown in so many games.

They should also be reminded that they are professionals with the privilege of playing in the first team and as such the bar has been raised with no excuses. Look as Ansi at Barca before he got injured. Even when messi was not playing that boy made the team look comfortable and was Consistent. Hardly does he have a bad game.

This needs to change quickly for eddy and Willock to convince everyone that they deserve their place in that squad else drastic decisions need to be taken. Time is of the essence and they are not getting younger too

But consider that consistency itself is a factor of time.

A plays 2 games and scores 2goals,
B plays 10games and scored 5goals.

While it may sound cool having a youthful team full of live and energy, I will advise Arteta applies caution and not parade a totally young and less experienced team going forward.

I mean it's cool seeing what dem Azeez, Balogun, Smith-Rowe, Martineli et al cam do with the ball on a good day, but playing all of them at the same time in a match other than Europa or F.A cup may not end well. I will not like to imagine a match where Yeri Mina will be clamping down on Balogun upfront, Decoure and Allan bullying Smith-Rowe and Azeez in midfield.....while Domino Claivert-Lewin is somewhere is our half waiting to wreak havoc along with Richalison. We may have a repeat of Wenger days in our hands when we do lose to physically superior teams.

I will advise the youngies are mixed with the oldies to give the team a balance. For example Azeez and Balogun should be given more playing time in the Europa league for them to gain much match confidence while Smith-Rowe should be given more playing time in the league. From there the duo of Azeez and Balogun based on their performance and confidence level should then be considered for early subs in EPL matches when we have a goal or two advantage.

That way we can then think of doing away with some oldies in the long run.
