Boarding schools that can't ensure the safety of their students need to be shut down.

Also, i really don't understand why parents feel the need to ship their kids off to boarding schools at such a young age. What time would you have to imbibe your personal values in the child and connect with him or her at an emotional level.

Also, these schools are usually single schools and their isolation from members of the opposite sex isn't a great idea. It usually has a negative effect on one's psychology.

For instance, i attended a boys-only school until SS2 before switching to a mixed school. Till date, i find it difficult to communicate or interact with ladies because, half the time, i'm talking to them like they're my fellow guys.

Abi na to ask woman out? Hahahaha, i fucking suck at that because i'm shy as F * C K

Granted it doesn't affect all persons this way. Instead, that isolation from members of the opposite sex turned some of my classmates into chronic womanizers.

We really need to review our academic system.

Very late to this thread.

The issue arising from this case is that Nigerian Christians don't worship God, they worship the God of Good Image.

And I have a fine feeling that the victim in this case is going to be scarified on the altar of the god of Good Image. If care is not taken.

All I will add is, if we Christians are not careful, in sixty years, the churches and chapels and worship centers in this country would be empty. Most people will be atheists or agnostics.
