With an offer of employment from a top SA company, you stand a faster response time truly. Companies like Amazon, Standard Bank, MTN have pulled visas for their known employees in good time.

Hello everyone,

I have 3 questions as regards getting South Africa's visitors visa, and I'd really appreciate if someone here could help answer them all...

1. What is the minimum amount one should have in their account to avoid being denied a visitor's visa?

2. If the person I am visiting in South Africa writes an invitation, will I still need to do hotel booking?

3. Can I use a savings account bank statement, or must it be a current account bank statement?

Thanks in anticipation.

1. At least NGN1.5M

2. Nope but the invitation letter has to clearly state this and the person must provide supporting documentation

3. Anyone is fine

School registration for 2021 session starts on Monday and South Africa is back to level 3 lockdown as their cases keeps increasing.

What’s our view on this? Should we still plan our study trip or we remain in Nigeria and progress online?

Most schools have not completed 2020 academic sessions. Though on Monday school opens but no serious activities will take place . Some schools will resume academic activities Feb/ March. Plan your trip and let see what happens. The disadvantage of online learning is that it deny immigrants the opportunity of working while studying at the same time in SA and the advantage is save cost of accommodation .

No, but the person is already here.
Update: certify your transcripts and certificates, fill the form on their website https://dfqeas.saqa.co.za/dfqeas/user/home
Pay the necessary amount, forward the payment slip and also the pro forma invoice to their email with pdf attachments of consent form to verify your qualifications and your application form.
