in this part of the world, the only reason we work is to gain money.. Nothing more.. Nothing like heart's passion or values or harnessing gifts.. It's whatever pays even if it is flipping shit! I don't blame people anyway, condition has turned everyone to money slave

whatever works for you but don't come back to complain that "a whole lawyer" was insulted by a passenger! Now the money you're enjoying.. don't be running form the cursing when there's outpouring!!!

This man has tested a fruit that opened his eyes of understanding as regards money making in Nigeria. Education is key but add a side hustle to it as far as Naija is concerned. Never settle for salaries alone. Enjoy your 10k man.

The law profession will always be financially rewarding and fulfilling to the versatile and resourceful ones. It'll always remain a goldmine profession. So, any seasoned lawyer who isn't making good money from the profession is either not versatile or resourceful or both.

So he's saying as a lawyer he can't make 300k per month. Things may be rough in the early years though but with fast learning, he may even be earning millions per contract as a lawyer later. Best bet is to keep the driving as a side job.
be open minded

Brother my question to you is this, did you study law as a passion or you study it just because you saw others? If you did it with passion, then wait for your time to come.

Many bus/taxi drivers earn far more than the so Called white collar jobbers..

well said, an uncle of mine makes more than 15k a day from plying Uyo to Ariaria in Aba. Built 2 houses in town and a daughter in a private university. A school drop out but living very well. Only lazy men wait for the government. You can always start from somewhere. My side hustling is what sustains my family today.

scientists around the world are searching for covid vaccines but our science graduates are here sewing designers nose masks.
A computer science graduate, after four years in school would still need a further two years to learn actual programming to useful in to the society.
i studied mechanical engineering and my dream was to work in the auto manufacturing industry, but where the work dey? do i take another 4 to 5 years learning "meichanic"?
After i came to understand the reality of naija's labour market, i decided to go into the IT field but my mechanical eng background has now become an obstacle, and im in the process of getting a degree in IT.

this country is fucccked up sir. half of my efforts in learning, if it were to be a better country, i would at least be very comfortable by now.

in summary, FORMAL EDUCATION IN NIGERIA IS A SCAM AND A WASTE BUT WE MUST TAKE PART IN IT.

There's a difference between chasing your dreams and pursuing money.

Most times your dreams might not make you rich but if you think that's the avenue you will use to influence your world, then go on with it.

Quitting law profession to become a taxi driver would be okay if you think law won't offer you what it takes to live your dreams.

But if all driving a taxi can offer you is money, then think again.

The choice is yours...

Be like hunger never wire u well well, life no longer balance brother, leave dream first, infact any dream that doesn't bring money isn't worth been called a dream. that dreamer should wake up asap.

did u see where he said he went out to look for urgent 2k??. that is hunger talking not dream. the reality

cheers
