Pls the first picture of this doors is how much if i may need 3 to 4 of it . ?
the doors cost #75,000 each.

The materials used are:
1.5mm 3 by 1½
2.5mm plain pan
Foreign frame
Wrought iron rod for the designs
And of course rubber bands to reduce the noise. Foreign hinges like the one in this picture will help in reducing the noise too

I'm in need of a sliding/rolling gate. It should be 14ft long. Could you provide me with the pricing? The location of the project is Edo state. Let me know if you need more details. Thank you
I need more information of what you want the materials to be. The commercially available ones like 2mm charka plate pan or the one with 2.5mm pan. The later is more durable, heavier and durable. Of course more expensive. Do you have any design in mind.

Something below is good but a bit expensive though. But if you like, I can get you something cheaper.

Costs #800,000

The second one is a bit cheaper. A Nairalander showed me a sample but I made it for someone else

double leaf you meant here is 4ft like the one in the image I showed you earlier I believe. The price is #75,000

Noise is number one and secondly how durable is the paint? Meanwhile this is the size in question Size of door
1200/2100mm entrance .

that can be done too. Would you want it to be equal parts or one big and one small like the one in the picture

first the paint I use is oil paint and I ensure I spray anti rust before the final coating. After that, I spray what I call "varnish" which is a transparent coating that makes it shiny. You also have the option of choosing the colors and the type of paint you want.

I have to tell you that I don't use berger paints please so if you want something of such quality,it will cost a bit more

About the noise, with good hinges like the one in the picture I showed you earlier plus the rubber rimming of the edges, I can tell you that at least 80% of the noise will be eliminated

Though I don't have any design in mind, I wouldn't mind the third pic sample (ash/black). For the material, could you provide pricing for the third sample using the 2mm and 2.5mm. Thank you

#520,000 for 2.5mm 450,000 for the 2mm. Kindly note that there is use of wrought iron on the design. If we should remove them, the price comes down to 480,000 and #400,000 respectively

price remain the same as stated.

Just so we're clear, each leaf of the door will be 28" wide making the two 56" so adding the frame which should be 4" making the total 60" wide

What is the purpose of the wrought iron? Is it just for aesthetic? I would like to know more to make an informed decision. Also, does it include the other leaf just for normal entrance (not car entrance)

wrought iron. It is basically aesthetics but it is also more durable because it's specially treated. Think about it as treated wood that safe from mots. All iron will eventually rust but wrought iron will outlive every iron.

It's beautiful please

what's the measurements of the place you want the gate installed. That will enable me know what you want. Normally it's about 14-16ft long but it can be customized to your choice
I'm looking at 3-4m.

The width of the land is 9.25m

sure there will be a provision for a 3ft entrance built into the gate unless you want it outside but I don't think you would want that because of space and stuff.
I don't know your exact location at Benin to be able to get you a quote for delivery. But budget 40-60,000 for delivery to your site. Hanging is for manson even though I maybe on site to explain a thing or two to them if they are not that experienced on such. I will fabricate everything that the gate will require before bringing it to site

if it's the building which you call kobo kobo project, I suggest you use slats cause that's where the future is. The traditional gates are fading really fast especially for modern building like yours.

The attached image is relatively cheap. #220,000 can get you the gate.

But my choice is still on slats. The world is moving so let's get on with it

The precise location is Ekpoma.
I will also need a quote for protector ( If that's the right name) to be installed on the front fence. I think that side of fence should be around 30ft long. I will get you the precise length or more details when we agree to move forward.

Guys, let me share timeline of this project with you to encourage our fellow developers on phased development.

Image 1 was taken on 15th April, 2020 during the lockdown. You'll see the rotary machine we used in boring the points. Structural engineer recommended 23 pile points, while soil test report says termination depth should be 26m deep
All 23 points were completed 10th May, 2020 (15/4/20- 10/5/20)

Image 2 was taken on 30th May, 2020
Between 11/5/20 - 29/5/20 we were able to do the pile cap, ground beam and on 30th May, 2020 we did the slab (German Floor)

Image 3 taken on 21/6/20. Between 1st June, 2020 to 20th June, 2020 we set up all the blocks for the ground floor up to lintels, did the decking and on 21/6/20 we casted the decking.

Image 4 was taken on 15th July, 2020 the day we roofed the building. All blocks for the upper floor and roof timber members were completed between 22nd June, 2020 to 14th July, 2020. Then on 15th July, 2020 we did the roofing.

That's a 90 cycle of non-stop work.
Total cost from piling, to foundation to blockwalls and roofing the carcass was ₦15million.
Cement bag cost ₦2600 then
20 tons Sand cost ₦45,000 then
Granite 30 tons cost ₦150,000 then
10mm reinforcement ₦210,000
12mm reinforcement ₦208,000
16mm reinforcement ₦ 214,000
20mm reinforcement ₦225,000

How do you want your beer??where can I send it to ??

jedisco:

The post you referenced was one the young man had edited. I have quoted his original post. Look at those who replied him earlier and you'd see the difference.

This issue has dragged on for a reason. But then it's surprising some folks don't see nothing wrong with certain statements. A very good way of checking if a statement is discriminatory is by inserting a word that describes your person and see if it still hurts.

From his initial post, I'd give certain examples with blank spaces. Fill them in with a personal word and see if it's right.

E.g
I know all races have people of low IQ but we need to be weary of ____ race
I know all Nigerian ethnicities have ugly people but we need to be weary of ______
I know all Nigerian ethincities have poorly trained youths but we need to be weary of ____

You can go on and on. How anyone can justify such statement is truly surprising. Of course he cheekily did not name an ethnicity but even a 3 year old knows what he meant. If folks did not quickly stand up to that statement, some others would have been happy to cherry pick more examples to paint people of that ethnicity in a bad light.

What's more annoying is when you call out such statements, people defend their stance by saying I have bought goods from someone from that ethnicity therefore I'm not a tribalist. Or my cook is from that ethnicity therefore I'm not a tribalist. Sounds familiar? Even Shekau can give such examples to excuse terrorism.

Abroad where he says he's coming from, if such statements are made in reference to him as a Nigerian or a black man, he would rightly regard it as racial profiling or racism. But the little man is here playing ostrich.

There's a difference between being matured and being a baby. I don't need an apology but if he saw the need to edit his post, that means he knows he erred. Maturity is being a bigger man and owning up to ones faults. We all make mistakes.

My point is simple- what's wrong is wrong and there's no excusing it. You were duped by one person does not mean you drag a whole ethnicity into it.

This gate doesn't look bad if its 220k grin. Remember the gate I want is sliding gate
Could you drop your contact or pm me for it.

There's no way a fence rail will be 30ft long. It's usually 10ft long. Do you have any idea what 30ft is like? That's almost two storey building
