For your mind naa Achievement? Wike just dey build the same pattern of Flyover for Rivers State. Naa overhead bridge him dey build even place wey no need flyover. He abandoned Greater Port Harcourt City Project even common to Complete the Igewruta road that link to Oyibo no way .He is busying constructing unnecessary flyover for the same road.A far as am concern the only flyover in Port Harcourt is Eleme flyover,Mile one flyover and Obiri ikwerri flyover the rest naa Overhead bridge. post=97582060: |

They could incorporate elevated monorail tracks into the bridge structure at just a little more cost, but I guess they are not that visionary. Years to come they will pull down parts of the bridge to build an intracity railway. |

PataAlhajaKeji:Lagos is also a very dirty place aside the Island, it is usually flooded and full of slums. Oh, I forgot Makoko (Africa's largest slum) is in Lagos coupled with the Awawa Boys, and One million Boys that rob people daily even after pre-informing them (this can't happen in PH). If PH has reprobates Lagos is full of psychos. The average Lagosian has an underlying mental issue but denies it in a bid to console themselves that's why you hear cases of fights on the road between drivers, and also with law enforcement officers. See this one, your street sense for Lagos no fit save you for PH, so forget that one the manchi no been serious. |

privaldo:You are absolutely correct and spot on. Lagos sef dey overhyped but we no dey bear name wey no fit us. ![]() My only grouse is the "Garden City" appellation Port Harcourt has been labelled with over the years. Na scam. You sef know. I toured the whole city few years back and there were no gardens anywhere. ![]() |

Are we not over hyping these achievements? Public works and infrastructural development are part of what is least expected of anyone in charge of our collective purse. They aren't doing the people a favor, rather they should take up urban renewal in order to transform our towns and cities to what is obtained abroad. It is not rocket science to achieve that. So stop eulogizing public servants for doing just the basic things that don't measure to what is constructed abroad in this 21st century. |

The day capital cities starts integrating with other local governments, just like Lagos is the day I will understand that other states are ready for minimal development. States like Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa and other oil and well populated states (Kano) can not just be circling state capital alone and call it development. As far as am concern we are still far from it. How many local government areas can one call city in Rivers state And yet if we calculate her federal allocations, IGI, royalties, grants etc. One will clearly understand that we are in deep shit |
