We keep purchasing ideas when our research and higher institutions could do research in effective road/street lightning techniques, there are street lights that only lights up when vehicle or personal motion and presence is detected, this will greatly reduce the energy consumption of these street lights even further!

I think it's inconsiderate and ignorance to talk down Tinubu if we are talking of Modern Lagos.. U might not b on his side political but u shouldn't b daft not to acknowledge his touch in Lagos down to how he painstakingly choose his predecessor to continue the good job..

The dangote refinery under construction in Lagos was supposed to b in Ondo but I know the Tinubu impact that draws that refinery to Lagos wen ondo state was slacking in MOU..

I did not say that LED is bad but I am saying that doing local research into the use of LED could even save us more energy and money.
Many of our University Professors compete favourably with their international counterparts and in fact, many Nigerian scholars are known the world over, that notwithstanding, there are still many more "lower grade" Professors in Nigeria as well as other countries all over the world.
