Happy New Year Nairalanders.

My wife is a double qualifued Nurse, she works with a private hospital but she wants to have another source of income because she normally works at most 20days in a month and the work is based on shift. 8am-2pm for morning duty, 2pm-6pm for afternoon duty and 6pm-8am for night duty. She normally have 6days off after the 7days night duty. Please which business can suggest that she goes into. Thanks

Let her open a pharmacy or chemist naaw. She can double it with some provisions in the shop and soft drinks. She can even be getting patients to treat from the shop. All the very best!

if she can hustle hard, she should go into network marketing which involves talking and interacting with people and is very profitable in the long run. her knowledge in the health sector will give her a massive advantage. you can also assist her.

She could try freelance writing.

If you don't want to lose your money, don't go into any business while working. Business needs your time and presence to grow. Save your money and do something else with it.
It is better you buy land and resale after sometime than running a business while working.
