And what does it means to follow him for who he is?

It simply means submitting your life and will to trusting and obeying His commandments and Will, just as Jesus Christ showed us to.

When I trust and obey my Boyfriend for example, does I mean I'm no longer after his money?

Maybe he promised to me give N2 million naira to setup my business after I go to school. And I agreed(trust and obey).

It simply means obeying God and his commandments.

Mark 12:30 summarises the whole thing, it says "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment” (Mark 12:30, KJV).

It means u should serve him unconditionally, that is do not attach any condition as to why u are following him. For example, it is wrong to serve God because of the fear that u don't want to go to hell fire, rather u should serve him unconditionally because he is ur creator and u just have to serve him
