I believe anyone can apply, however due to covid 19 restrictions, Canada is prioritizing application processing for persons eligible to travel

Please how long does it take to get passport back from vfs Lagos. Submitted the passport return form since December 14th, I am yet to receive it.

Good day guys. My wife uncle , who is a Canadian citizen, aged 60 years wants me to come for visit. My questions are: 1, must he indicate in the invitation that he will take care of my accomodation and feeding and what other documents must he submit. 2, will IRCC see my application as extended or immediate family member, what are my chances here to avoid refusal. 3, I currently works with a corporate organisation, will I submit my bank statemnt because I will book the flights ticket myself. 4, The major reason for the visit is for us to discuss prospective job offer, but I hope I should not indicate this as reason for the visit and what should i indicate be the best reason for the visit

Hello everyone, my mum has gotten an email that her passport is ready for pick up. She sent to VFS Lagos but the email states her passport is ready for pick up in Abuja. Has anyone ever had this issue? How do we pay the courier fees and what forms do we fill. I have emailed VFS but no response, one cannot chat with them either and they aren't picking their calls.

For those who received their passports recently how did you go about it. Thank you.

So I called vfs this morning on this number 08150188800 and they informed me the passport was shipped out since 22nd of December. The lady I spoke to gave me the UPS tracking number.

When I tried tracking the passport on ups site it was showing the package has been abandoned.

I am currently following up on this with both UPS and VFS. I will keep you posted.

Please anyone with similar experience should advise too.

VFS global Nigeria has a big problem, I chatted here sometime ago about my passport, I got an insider phone number and he told me that my passport has been with UPS courier service since 31/12/2020 . I was just send the email and tracking ID of the parcel. Hmmmm i will be free from Nigeria's nonchalant altitude . If you have the same issue please call this number.08071191132( Mr Festus VFS). Hi guys, I found that VFS gave a wrong address to UPS. I had to double check if the mistake was from me but it was an error from their end. I have sorted this with UPS and I pray to get the passports in coming days. However, I think we really need to fight this courier being the only option for passport pickup. It doesn't seems to be reliable. They should be able to allow people to schedule appointment for passport pickup instead forcing everyone to use courier. A lot of applicants are in Lagos and can easily go pickup their passport themselves without using the courier.

The most frustrating part is the fact that they are not reachable. They don't pick calls on their official contact phone number, the chat platform isn't available and they don't respond to mails. I sent a mail requesting for the procedure to send passports to them since December 30th, they are yet to respond till date. I eventually got all the info on Nairaland. Except for the personal phone numbers that people are giving out here now, it's just almost impossible to reach them if you have any issues and that's just very unfair. Why should everything be so difficult with the Nigerian system?

If I'm applying for a TRV and intend to travel with my infant, do I need to fill out a separate visa application for them.

If not, do I need to/where do I upload their international passport on my online application?
