For me democracy does not suit Africans, or at least the way we practice it. We are too heterogenous for it.

However, the world over, it seems like the minority are now beginning to resent the fact that the majority won and that issues which they (the minority) hold dear would not be tackled because they lost to the majority. Example in the US, a good number of people are against using their tax dollars to fund abortion companies like planned parenthood, but because they are in the minority(sort of) their concerns would be ignored.
