If you are a lover of nature, nice views and some quiet, Almat farms is the place for you. Located on 40 hectares of land in the outskirts of Kuje, Abuja, it is the perfect spot for a brief getaway from township hustle and bustle.

If you are mobile or using uber, google map will easily direct you to the farm once you get to Kuje; another option will be to take taxi (along) at designated junctions to Kuje, drop at AA Rano filling station and bike to the farm (transport fare varies depending on location)

Fresh farm produce are also sold on the farm depending on weight, got a pack of pepper for N500 and cucumber for N800. Whatever you buy on the farm, keep the receipt as you'll need to show it on your way out

Accommodation on the farm starts from N35,000 per night upwards, depending on your choice of room. There’s also a stationed photographer on the farm for all your "Jpegs". I took all pictures with my phone though‍♀️

On arrival to the farm, you’ll be given a palmphlet at the gate (shown below) and directed to the reception where you will pay an entrance fee of N2,000 per head for Adults and N500 for kids. This fee entitles you to a tour guide. Prices of food and other activities on the farm are captured in the palmphlet as shown below.

Overall, my visit here was worth every penny spent. This place gave me a lot of good vibes...warm staff, incredible view and patient tour guides who will answer all your questions...it was totally relaxing. Pictures don't even do justice to it...I'll definitely come back here.

You can just go spend the day there and return home as against sleeping over.

Unrelated but how did you get that love emoji to show here? Can't seem to use any emoji aside the NL ones which is quite limiting
