Austine1213: Lesotho has only one rail line built in 1905. Zim, Swaziland, Malawi etc are not known for rail services. These countries you're listing are tiny populations with precious little demand for mass rail. They mostly offer a token service. And it wouldn't surprise me if SA leverages her political and economic influence to get those poor neighbours to buy her trains. |

rossoki:mind you we don't need $10 billion to bring back ajaokuta.we don't even need up to $6bn. Mind you cost saving we would get from the various rail projects would be enormous couple with the fact that we would be able to to utilize the steel for local production and also for export which would help a lot with foreign exchange .it will help in making us self reliant the cost of reviving ajaokuta out ways the current arrangements with buying all things from china. |
