Please how do i get my first bank bank statement since its not on the MBS list of banks.

P.S i'm not in Nigeria
I don't think you can get it without being on ground, unless you have a very good rapport with your account officer and he/she decides to assist

Thank you @frankrobbn. You reply dey always make sense
Frankrobbn1:

You've a great deal of work to do in your application, most especially when establishing strong ties with your home country. Given that your entire family (parents and siblings) are resident of an European Country, you're better off showing that you've immovable assets in your name with valuation report, as well as briefly discuss about your plans of getting married to your fiancee immediately after the completion of your studies. Attach relevant documents like engagement photos etc. Your future career prospects and goals after studies would also be a strong point to bank upon as motivation to depart from Canada.

It will end in praise.

Guys please I need your input!

I saw a Biotechnology Co-op fast track program at centennial college. Now my issue is that I’m going for my service and I’ll probably end up serving in a food company. Now Food analysis is part of the courses I’ll take during my Biotech program in centennial. My issue is it is my wish to study Biotech because it offers a lot of opportunity that Food Technology which is what I was considering. But can I still opt for the Biotech since good analysis and food biochemistry are part of the courses I’ll be taking?

20th from today is little over a week. When are you supposed to resume (I mean your lessons)? It is possible to get your stamped passport before then if they don't have too much work to do, so consider that when booking your flight.
If you are not so much in a hurry I will advise you don't book your flight for now or book for a date after 20th (if your rmesumption date is still far).
My resumption date is today but I have enrolled for online classes while waiting for the passport stamp.

Hello everyone,
I am so confused about how to go about my POF.

We have a food family business with my name on the CAC document as part of the owners.

Can this business sponsor me by sending the whole money at once to my account?

Or should my husband be the sponsor?

Is it compulsory to send the money to my own account in bits or the money for my proof of funds can be sent at once?

Note: I studied industrial chemistry as my first degree. I'm going for global business Management in Humber college to specialise in fashion Management in the 2nd year. (I have an offer letter already for fall 2021)
My fashion business is registered with CAC and I have certificates from my fashion schools, with presence on social media.
Which documents can I submit to support my application.

I hope I have a good chance of getting a visa.

Hello, pls help me out. Hw did u go about getting the admission in humber college. I want to study global management also in humber college. Pls help me out

That's cool, since you have enrolled then you don't need to be in a hurry to book your flight so you don't miss or change date if IRCC don't send your passport before then(we don't pray for that though).
If you must book your flight for 20th then make sure it is one with changeable date(just in case), that way if your passport arrive before 20th you can travel, if not you will just shift the departure date(it might come at a cost)

You can easily find the list of IRCC accredited physicians in China and their address, with that you can go for upfront medical or wait till IRCC instruct you to go for it.
Good luck

i just got off the phone with an Accredited physician and it costs 1500rmb(115,000 naira) for the upfront medicals, now my questions are

1. is it this expensive in Nigeria?

2. hope the Canadian embassy would approve of it , or should i just wait till they direct me on which specific clinic to go cause 115k much to gamble now

3. will they send the medical report to the Canadian embassy or will i have to go back and pick it up myself?

4. Since i am submitting online, where will i go for the thumb print? or will the embassy direct me to where i will thumbprint here in china ?

5. i don't live in the city where i will go for the medicals. can i do the medicals and thumb print same day ?

Please an insight would really help a brother

I have lived in Germany and I’ve been in Canada for a month plus now. If I had to choose, I’ll pick Canada.

- No language barrier, this means more job opportunities
- Canadians are more friendly
- You’ll get permanent residency status/citizenship in a shorter time and it’s more straight forward.
- There is no “German bureaucracy” in Canada. For example It can take up to 2 weeks to open a bank account in Germany. Meanwhile in Canada, it took me less than an hour. Germans have strict rules and too many paper work.

Cheers

But Canada university are not tuition free. And you still have to pay for Visa and all that thereby compounding expenses.

Do you know how much on the average one is expected to use for getting to Germany vs that of Canada? Visa, School fees and all(just on the average, I know each school have differing tuition fees)?

I just want to compare both countries based on cost and make my decision, because I kind of like the free education Germany offers.

Also, from what I seeing here, procurement of Canada visa seems stressful, too many protocols for the Education route vs Germany that the university doesn't require much for Masters.

Hello Everyone,
I just thought I should post this in case anyone needs the information.

After getting my PPR in October 2020, I did not get any response from IRCC regarding my children's application. I sent emails to all the email addresses posted on this forum. But I kept getting generic responses.

I got to know I needed written authorization for my kids. I sent an email requesting for written authorization and expedition of their visas.

This is the email:
IRCC.COVID-TravelExemptions-Exemptionsdevoyage-COVID.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

This email is for those who need written authorization for travel exemption This doesn't apply to those with study visa.

The following day, I got their PPR. In about a week, I got their written authorization.

For those who want to apply for kids and spouses during this pandemic or are yet to receive the visas for their immediate family members. Read this webpage:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors/visa.html

If there is anyone who has travelled to Canada with their kids, can you please share your experience? Thank you.

GURUS in the house please help me out. Or should I just apply to study in another country instead? Like New Zealand?

I have applied for a study visa twice and have been denied. I was denied on the following grounds the first time (2015). I cannot remember all the reasons for denial the second time(2016). But same reasons in the first were also amongst the reason for denial.
''You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
1. travel history
2. family ties in Canada and in country of residence
3. length of proposed stay in Canada
4. purpose of visit
5. personal assets and financial status.''

Update on my current status regarding the above:
I will be 37 years old by August 2021.
I have not travelled out of Nigeria yet
I have my parents and 4 of my siblings here in Nigeria. I have a younger brother living and working in Canada after studying there.

I want to begin another application this year 2021 but someone advised me to first of all request for my GCMS file before applying again. a link (https://www.gcmsbuddy.com/ ) was sent to me by a friend to register and make the request. Please can I request for my GCMS myself or do I need an agent to make the request for me? And please how do I go about the request? What information will I need to make the request?

Also, since the course applied for also matters in being granted a visa, please I also need a candid advice on what course is preferable for me to apply for as my undergraduate degree study which is Geography & Environmental Management (Second Class Lower Division) is entirely different from my line of work (Administrative/Finance Officer) of over 7 years in an Insurance company. I do have 4 course option I will like to apply for:

1. Business Administration in Human Resource Management
2. Operations Management
3. International Business Management OR
4. Nursing (Healthcare Assistant)

My Dad who is now retired for over 2 years now will be sponsoring me for my study.
Please I want to know if it is advisable to apply again, and if I will get the study visa this time if I apply.

Thanks so much and God bless you richly.
You can order for your gcms note yourself via some third party sites(one of them is the one you posted), you can get more if you search.
As for the case of trying New Zealand or sticking to Canada, it is up to you. Both countries are unique in their own way, so go for the one that suits your future ambition.
I can't really say which course you should go for, but I have the following to say:
1. If you decide to go for something relating to what you studied in your bachelors then you will have to explain why you decided to go back to the field after 7 years away (there are so many reasons to give).
2. If you decide to go for your new found "love" field, you also need to explain why you (also, so many reasons to give).
So the ball is in your court

The response you got is based on the question you asked. Maybe giving more detail of your profile will go a long way in getting more detailed answer.
That been said, getting masters admission with a 2.2 grade is difficult but not impossible. So many factors are considered when assessing your application: what was your grade for the last two years of your bachelors program? How many years experience do you have in your field of study /intended field of study?.......
All these and more will play a vital part in their decision making

The last two grades were 3.5 and 4.0 respectively. A fresh graduate to be precise from the department of Environmental Engineering with the hope of having Msc in the same dept.

I just want to know if someone can put in with such grades, or someone has to do some sort of diploma programme first.

Please an insight would really help a brother

1. If it is less expensive in Nigeria will you fly back to Nigeria just for medical? Lol
2. If it is IRCC accredited physicians then they will accept it
3. They will send the result to IRCC in the space of 2-5 days after your test. They will only give you a receipt to show you have done and paid for your medical (you can later decide to upload it to your application if you feel like, but that's not the result)
4. IRCC will send you an email asking you to go for your biometric and the address of the visa centre in your country/city will be sent to you. You can also search online to see the Canadian visa centre closest to you (in most countries IRCC uses the services of visa application centres to help get those information and accept paper applications from applicants).... Google that
5. Yes you can do both on the same day. But you need to plan your movement the right way.
Biometric (thumbprint and capturing) will be done after you have submitted your application (might take between 2 days to 2 weeks after your application, depending on when they send your biometric invitation). As for medical, if you intend to go for upfront medical, you can do that before applying then submit your payment receipt together with your application (meaning you will not do medical and biometric on the same day). Another option will be you submit your application without medical, then once you get your biometric invitation you can now book an appointment with the physician on the same day (after your biometric). Once you get the receipt you can send to IRCC whenever you want.
The last option will be to apply, wait for your biometric invitation, then later on wait to receive medical invitation (this will most likely be on a different date)

We are all unique in our own ways, so our preference doesn't have to be the same.
Just like people are rushing to Canada, that's how others prefer Germany.
Both countries application can be stressful and at the same time very straightforward. You need to know that no two cases are the same.
So the bottom point is, go to where you think will favour you and your plans
