Good day Nairalanders, my dad recently bought the Umidigi A7 pro (64gb rom, 4gb ram) from jumia the first week of black friday, it was working perfectly till around christmas week when we start noticing some apps opening on its own with any interaction, after a week the problem increased, it touches on its own without anyone touching it for like a minute or more, then it stops. So I activated visual touch on the phone to see where it touches, and lo and behold its has like 10 touches on the top left (sometimes right) part of the screen
Also we found that the seller gave only 1 WEEK of waranty to the phone (a fault on my dad side actually)
Is there anything we can do to fix this glitches

Same problem i faced with leagoo 2 years back.

Ghost touches.
i noticed this problem started when i used a charger that is not the follow come charger of the phone.

If there's a screen protector on the phone, remove it completely. Besides, did the phone fall?

No, it didn't fall, I've removed screen protector and it still misbehaving

before transsion goons jump on this to castigate umidigi, remember that your dear infinix note 8 and 7 suffers from the same ghost touch issue

as for the OP, is there any screen guard on this phone?
try removing it and see what happens

if it's a liquid guard then leave it as it is o

the phone is a beast.... Currently using it.... Waiting for umidigi a11 pro next year

I currently use Umidigi A7pro and i must confess its a real beauty. i'm really surprised at OP's complaint... something must have happened that made the phone misbehave so much. check the screen if its a bit loose from the body

I am having the same problem with my A7pro, pls Op how did u solve yours?

Try talking your phone to a service center... maybe the screen isn't well placed on the phone or you change the screen or touch pad
