Anambra state airport has 3 access road.
The main access road is the one at umunya/awkuzu axis of Onitsha express road and that's the one that is currently under construction and it's a 6lanes airport road, the main access road is not accessable for now due to the massive construction it's receiving now. while the two others will be 4lanes. The one u saw is not the main access road it's the nteje-Umueri axis and it will be 4lanes, there is also nsugbe-umueri axis road, it's a shortcut for those coming from Onitsha.
Later now you will be claiming u re from Anambra state that you knows everything

Below is the pix and video update of the main Access road as of July/August 2020

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZQUcY00MDA
How can Awkuzu-Nteje or Nsugbe be 4 lanes when lots of buildings line those single lane roads? There is no way they can be converted to dual lane talk less dual carriageways which your fellow illiterate ChimaAdeoye uses without even understanding the difference.

As for the video you posted it shows the airport access road links to the Awkuzu Nteje single lane road.

Yes I am from Anambra and that is why I can see through your 419 including your silly belief that the airport will be ready for operations in April 2021. It is not even 50% complete from the look of it unless they will be using it for red cross flights.

Stop embarrassing yourself this old clown. Leave this space because you have been embarrassing yourself. No one takes you seriously anymore. You are not from Anambra. I thought you said here that there's no such 6 lanes road to the airport?

Now you have diverted to Nteje/Umueri? Why are you worried about when the airport shall be ready? Anambra international airport shall be commissioned this year, whether in April or November you, it doesn't concern you.

Does it concern you? You sleep on this thread night and day, you don't sleep at night, you don't go anywhere at day time. Is this thread your home? Why can't you vagabond do something with your miserable life in this new year. Tufia

Since ur stupedity, F0olishness can't allow you, visit the main access road, and other access roads to confirm. Mumu.

U thought, we are building a small airport with half lane link road, Anu.

What we are building is international Cargo and Passengers airport, with 3 access roads, the main access road is 6lanes and it's currently under construction, while the 2 other access road will be 4lanes, construction has not started yet due to the heavy duty trucks, and containers are accessing the airport with there construction material, work Will start there once the airport is completed
Thank You

I get your pain. I actually watched his video turning the volume to ZERO. I hate hearing nonentities dish out ignorance so confidently. When the least they could do is simply google it!

That boy makes good driveby videos, but he is a dunce! Probably didn't complete primary 6. In one of his videos, he even said Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu sent all Nnewi people to a business school abroad, while simultaneously forced other Igbos to fight and die for Biafra! That is why Nnewi people are good in business but don't care about Biafra like other Igbos! Just imagine the insolence he speaks with confidence!!!

That guy is a compound illiterate and sadly as many of them do, they have no respect for science or facts. They just open their mouths and let their ignorance ooze out. Albeit speaking so confidently that it becomes so annoyingly unbearable to hear his idiocy!
The part in bold got me laughing. Maybe he should just focus on providing videos since he is good at that, and stop talking while at it grin

Sometimes I do wonder why it appears like majority of those that blog in Nigeria are not intellectually sound, and that's quite ironical.

I stopped watching this video when the narrator claimed that Calabar airport is busier and more viable than Owerri airport. Even if you're not informed about airport traffic in Nigeria, why not Google it instead of making a mockery of yourself. You even mentioned Owerri airport and sighed, like it was some crap.

Dude, a simple Google search should have informed you that Owerri airport is by far the fourth busiest in Nigeria, after Lagos, Abuja and P.H in that order. The Sam Mbakwe airport Owerri recorded 47,000 passengers in one month while Calabar airport you ranked above it could manage just 12,000!

If only Imo State governors have been up and doing, and fixed Owerri's roads, the city would have been among the most beautiful in Nigeria. However, that doesn't mean people, especially our fellow Igbos would always try to put it down unnecessarily.

Rubbish!!
You are reading the kind of meaning you want, no offense was intended. It's not easy driving and talking the same time. We have a video of beautiful Owerri city coming up. In fact Owerri has one of the widest intra-city roads in Nigeria. Enviable dual carriage roads and triple carriage roads inside the city, you don't see that many in many cities. This is the result of the foresight and futuristic thinking of Sam Mbakwe, he also built one of the best drainage systems in Owerri. This is where we picked our info from https://www.statista.com/statistics/1089447/domestic-passenger-traffic-nigeria-airports/ because we wanted the latest and most up to date information.
Any unintended offense is regretted.

Nwokem, Gerroutta here!

The problem with you guys is that you are too stubborn to take advise! You never research a topic before you start talking nonsense online. Continue! In the end you are killing your channel by refusing to research the right information before speaking lies on the internet.

You should learn to research facts before going online to speak like a drunk. Else, when people point out the inaccuracies, you should be humble enough to say "I'm sorry" i made a mistake. Instead of cursing them! Are you not ashamed of arguing pointlessly instead of apologizing that you broadcast the wrong information? Calabar airport is NOT busier than Owerri airport! Everybody in Nigeria knows that. Except of course beer parlour professors like you. See the latest FAAN data on aircraft movement and compare Owerri and Calabar. http://www.faan.gov.ng/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/AIRCRAFT-HARM.pdf

Since you have posted the Nnewi video, I endured your voice to point out where you made the silly allegation that because Ojukwu was Biafran leader, Nnewi people were allowed to do business as others fought the war, watch from 3:22 to 3:40. Not to mention that Anaedo comprises of Ichi, Oraifite and Nnewi who were the 3 sons of Edo, not Nnewi alone! Then even worse, you went to town with all sorts of lies and concoctions why Nnewi is called Nnewi!!

Why don't you simply google the information before doing a voice over of falsehood? It should occur to you that Nnewi people might indeed come across your video and how offensive what comes out of your mouth can be to them. Especially as you could very quickly spend 2 minutes to find out the correct information online before letting all sorts of falsehood ooze out of your mouth? The same attitude in your other videos where you just speak without any regard for the facts. You simply expose your ignorance by that behavior and laziness to research before speaking. You put yourself on trial each time you speak publicly without doing any sort of research on the topic to know the facts.

You should learn to RESEARCH before going online to dish out falsehood and then play the victim game when people point out the fallacy.

The final stage of tiling the airport tower has commenced. After this, the installation of glass tidings, airconditioning of the control room, radar on the roof, and other facilities will mark the completion of a functional control tower.

Hopefully, they have already ordered radar and other navigational equipment meant to be installed on the roof of the control tower. The time taken by Obiano and the team to do a high-quality job must be commended. I'm just impressed at the quality of work.

I expect more gnashing of teeth tonight by that enemy of Anambra. Let him come and say the control tower will be blown down by wind or some of his nonsense talk. His wailing will be endless on this project. grin

Nigeria after Lagos, Abuja, PH and Kano. Let the cursed frustrated mktinsight keep crying. cheesy

I like Craneberg as they do quality of work. The road they done in Lagos and Ondo is very nice. If I had my way I would of given them contract to of done the taxiways as well instead of IDC and also get them to do the other runway immediately. Even if we have small terminal but two runways and all landing and lighting equipment as well as weather. I tell you this Airport will be the third busiest airport immediately. Our roads should be given to Craneburg, Julius Berger, RCC all with instruction for closed drainage and sidewalks and watch Anambra turn into a modern state. The next governor should really think well. Not all these shoddy contractors. If craneburg done those flyovers in Awka it would be marvelling. I am impressed with there work. I know the Chinese will also do a wonderful terminal event though small. I hope IDC doesn't let use down with the Taxiways. Well done to Obiano.

I said this last week but was insulted by a young child on here. This is another Alex Ekwueme Square not a stadium. Where will fans sit? They will stand in the sand. Only less than 500 can sit. This was a waste of money and should of built an International Market in Awka with this money or even a second runway at the airport. Can Nigeria play Brazil in this place? Rubbish

Since they have enough space on the opposite side of the pitch, they can always build new spectator stand across. Afterall, most world cup stadia are upgraded to reach 30,000 - 50,000 capacity before every Fifa world cup by the host countries. When such a huge event comes, they can always upgrade. They can even do a double decker upgrade by building spectator stands on top of the roof of the present one like the stadia below. Its a common method used in increasing the capacity of stadia selected for global events. However if they fail to build the stadium at all, there will be nothing to upgrade.

How could they even imagine building a structure like that? Madness. At least you build a 10000 seater. How will you generate money from this?
Who will play there? We have many stadiums. To compete you have to have quality.

There isn't enough money after the basics such as salaries, roads, schools and hospitals. I think we have to be mindful that Anambra isn't an oil producing state or a northern state that benefits from all sorts of huge Federal Government allocations and massive infrastructural programs. Even the airport and major roads that Anambra is using it's meagre resources to build were built by the FG for most of the northern states. Thus, there is a reason why Anambra never had a stadium because apart from Peter Obi that insisted in doing some projects in the state, the previous governors were just content with the mindset of saying "Lack of funds" and not even trying to build a little.

This is NOT an international stadium but a mini stadium built as part of the FIFA GOAL project. It is meant for grassroots football DEVELOPMENT. The stand should be able to seat 1-3,000 spectators. The running track is good for school games.

It's not a waste of money but is appropriate for now until professional football in Nigeria develops into a money spinner. Otherwise look at the fate of all the international stadia in Nigeria. Built at huge cost and each barely seeing 20 games a year. All falling apart due to huge maintenance costs and low fan revenue.

The state should add other facilities to the site and make it a real sports complex for basketball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, swimming, etc. The youths need an outlet instead of sitting in drinking joints or watching TV or engaging in cultism. You should see the turnout at Ekwueme Square after the rudimentary facilities were built for the police games.

IDC is just a conduit for siphoning funds. Look at the expressway that RCC is building from Umunya to Amawbia with Sukuk money. Solid with crash barrier, emergency lane and proper water channeling. IDC built rubbish in Awka. No crash barrier, an uncompleted highway, ramps that trailers struggle to climb. I think they also built that nonsense footbridge that obstructs part of the expressway at unizik junction that should be demolished.

Like you said, qualified contractors should be engaged to give our cities befitting wide roads. Awka, Nnewi, Onitsha need proper wide avenues leading to business districts, government districts with pavements, parking and traffic lights. Just look at New York City. The Manhattan business district is from 1st AVE to 7th AVE. Or Washington DCs famous Pennsylvania AVE.

That's how you open up and develop a city not one lane roads and filthy markets all over the place.

The most important is to have standard pitch and track line, scoreboard, standard floodlights any incoming governor can easily upgrade the seating capacity unlike the substandard mini stadiums Paul B built in Onitsha north and south the two stadiums collapsed under 2yrs of construction, the track and field was poorly done, with local welded floodlights, and stand, you guys need to visit those stadiums in Onitsha to see the difference with this Obiano is building, could you imagine during Nigeria police game that was hosted by Anambra state there was no standard state stadium we had to use Rojenny private stadium and the stadium in Asaba, Peter wasted money to construct those nonsense in Onitsha, Paul B is the worst construction firm I have seen, I'm happy gov Obiano imported the materials, scoreboard, lighting etc, had it been this standard stadium was built before the police game we wouldn't have been begging for stadium to use for football and track game, subsequent administration can upgrade the seating capacity just like just like Okowa did with Asaba stadium.
