There Jesus said "i am giving you a NEW COMMANDMENT, that you should love one another just as i love you, this will serve as a sign that you're truly my followers if you have this love amongst yourselves"

Now listen, the general Love for neighbours covers everyone both the person you know at work, school, co-tenants, family relations and all those living in your neighbourhood. We must Love them as we Love ourselves, i may choose to deny myself of something for a reason so for the same reason i can also deny my neighbour after all i love him/her like myself.
But the Love Jesus commanded that i should have for a fellow JW is much more than that! I must Love my fellow JW the same way Jesus loves me! Jesus laid down his life for me so that's exactly the same kind of love i must have for a fellow JW.

The love of the Messiah is obedience to his Commandments. What are his Commandments? His Commandments are the Commandments of the Father. The Commandments of the Father are the Ten Commandments. Anyone who does this abides in Yahushua the Messiah.

John 14:23 Yahushua answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him.

No where in the Scriptures did Yahushua the Messiah ever admonish his saints to die for anyone. If I am wrong, then it means it is in the Scriptures but I haven't seen it. So, dude, help me with the Book, chapter and verse.

So why must they follow Jesus? after all each of them can easily keep the laws on their own as you're insinuating now!

Well it's because of the NEW COMMANDMENT Jesus want to give his own followers!

They must have LOVE amongst themselves not the type of Love the Mosaic laws asked them to have for neighbours which entails loving others as they would love themselves But this time Jesus' followers must Love fellow believers the same way Jesus loves them, this will be their IDENTIFYING MARK throughout the earth! If the commandmests in the Mosaic laws is sufficient to gain everlasting life Jesus wouldn't have introduced a NEW COMMANDMENT!

So if you can't figure out which of the religious groups around you have this kind of love, then it means you've not known Jesus because all the religions in the world are saying the same thing "love your neighbour as yourself" even ATHEISTS are saying exactly the same thing. It's only amongst Jesus' true followers "JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES" that you can find that kind of LOVE.
