The thing is pitbulls as a breed are very protective and loving, people use mistake the fact that its not the breed that harms human rather its a dog. I've seen where a german shepherd nearly killed its owner... Individually a dog not a breed can be very harmful... You dare not come near some lhasa. So pitbulls are not harmful towards kids some certain dogs are irrespective of the breed
